What people say
“We tried here milk based coffee and Gesha shot, also ordered caprese salad and grilled chicken sandwich. The salad was fresh, although it'd be nice to serve it with flaky sea salt and black pepper so the customer can choose between it and sauce that is served as an accompaniment. I wouldn't say my husband and I are coffee gourmets, but the coffee was really good (more expensive than most local places, comparable to Starbucks probably, but much tastier - may Starbucks' fan forgive me 😼). We also didn't have to wait very long and had no issues with connecting to WiFi. We also enjoyed watching at koi fishes outside while waiting for our order. A nice plus is the polite staff who speak excellent English. Cons: it's easier to check the menu online while you're standing in line because there's only one and it's right there on the ordering counter, which isn't very convenient. And if you're not a coffee fan, you should be wary there are no other drinks on the menu, although it'd be great to add at least water or juices.”
“I really enjoyed this café. The coffee is excellent — a bit on the expensive side, but definitely worth it. What I love most is that they prepare the coffee right in front of you, so you can actually see the process. It makes the whole experience feel more special and authentic. The staff speak English very well and are friendly, which makes it comfortable for both locals and foreigners. The space is great — perfect for working or having a conversation. There’s also outdoor seating, which I personally love. Overall, it’s a place I’d happily come back to.”
“I had a cup of coffee that cost 375,000 VND (around 21,000 KRW). To be honest, at this price point, I felt I could have experienced a much more refined and professionally crafted coffee in Korea. It was clear that they were using high-quality beans, but unfortunately, the flavors didn’t seem to be fully brought out. My wife ordered a decaf coffee, and after adding the milk that was recommended to her, much of the coffee’s original character disappeared, leaving it tasting rather ordinary. That said, the atmosphere of the café was excellent. It was very quiet and peaceful — a perfect place to enjoy some personal time. The staff also spoke English fluently and were exceptionally kind, which left a very positive impression. If they plan to maintain this price range, I think paying a bit more attention not only to the space and service, but also to the quality of the extraction and the overall coffee experience, would make it a far better experience overall. Of course, this is just my personal opinion :)”
“This XLIII Specialty Coffee, located in the center of Da Nang, is truly a hidden gem that I discovered during my first visit to the city. The café offers a spacious, comfortable, and well-designed environment, making it an ideal place for afternoon coffee, casual meetings, or even focused work sessions. What sets XLIII apart from typical cafés is its wide selection of coffee beans. U can choose from different bean varieties at varying price points, and the roasting style can be customized according to personal preference. This level of attention to detail makes the coffee experience quite unique. The average price is around VND 120,000 per cup, which is reasonable for specialty coffee of this quality. In addition to coffee, the café also offers a variety of pastries and snacks to enjoy alongside your drink. And according to the staff, XLIII has four other branches across Vietnam, including two in Ho Chi Minh City. I will definitely be visiting those locations in the future.”
“xliii specialty coffee is easily one of the most beautifully designed cafés I’ve visited. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by soaring ceilings with exposed concrete beams and industrial elements that somehow feel warm rather than cold. The skylight floods the space with natural light, creating this amazing interplay between the raw architecture and the cozy café vibe. The minimalist white counters paired with black metal accents and strategic greenery give it a very contemporary, almost gallery-like feel. The pendant lighting adds just the right amount of warmth to balance the industrial aesthetic. It’s clear that every design element was intentional. Whether you’re here for the coffee or the atmosphere (or let’s be honest, both), xliii delivers on creating a memorable experience. It’s one of those places that makes you want to linger a little longer. Highly recommend for coffee lovers, remote workers, and anyone who appreciates thoughtful design.”
