Yuzu Omakase ゆずお任せ Ha Noi

“Really fun omakase experience in Hanoi! It is a bit pricey but I do think it’s worth it. They have a very good selection of fish and some innovative dishes. the only comment I have is some of the courses were back to back very rich in flavor so it made me wish there were some lighter options in between. Additionally I think the gummy bears in the dessert were unnecessary for the price point of the whole meal. Overall I would visit again. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating!”

“Lots of things to admire , from the attentive staff to the very photogenic look at all the dishes , I do admire the creativity in many of the dishes. However , I do find the overall taste of the food at Yuzu tend to be too sweet for my liking. The sushi rice also leans to be more on a smaller size , which didnt balance up to the proportion of the nigiri. Would love to come back for the longest set menu in the future.”

“Came in for the Journey and it was definitely a food journey that went on for 2 hours. Chef Tuan Anh, made the whole experience eventful and his craftsmanship is undisputed. Consistent food technique all round and pulling all the customers in to share the experience. Service from the door to constant table attentiveness of the waitress was top notch. I highly recommend Yuzu Omakase Hanoi if you’re looking for a good Japanese food experience.”

“Dress code failed! Don’t have one if you cannot keep one… I was very excited to try this out, service and all was good, food also but one thing I got quite disturbed is the dress code… If I have to follow dress code how come others doesn’t? I need to go out buy new pair of pants because it is smart casual… Later at dinner the guy next to me come in with slippers and shorts… very disappointed on this dress code part. Else overall the dinner was nice and the chef try his best to make all fun but with my annoyance I would like money back instead and eat a road side pho, because I spend time to be suitable for the dress code and not be turn down, if dress code not important maybe should never mention it in first place.”
