“Loved the different ways they roast their own coffee. This was reflected in the fragrance of the Lychee Coffee we had at this establishment. The owner assured us that he'd just roasted it yesterday, and it showed. The business allows you to smell the fragrance of their respective coffee beans before ordering, an ability which my girlfriend availed herself generously of before ordering. Great experience. Also had the flat white and a pistachio cruffin. Don't usually have good experiences with cruffins, but this one was exceptional. Wonder where they get their bakes from, or if its done in house. The atypical selection of coffee beans in house, complete with a bunch of coffees from Yunnan which I'd never heard of, really shows a do it yourself attitude in looking for coffee that I find quite admirable. Theres no reason why scouting for beans yourself rather than going to established coffee countries is an invalid approach. These guys are real ones. And the customers benefit from an enhanced product experience. The name is a sort of pun, that also describes their coffee philosophy. I liked it. Good quality, admirable philosophy, interesting execution, for a different experience. Would come again.”

“I recently tried Ask Coffee and had such a pleasant surprise—the owner is actually from Jember, Indonesia! Always nice to find a little Indonesian connection abroad. The coffee itself didn’t disappoint. Their dirty latte is highly recommended—smooth, well-balanced, and just the right mix of bold espresso with creamy milk. Definitely a must-try if you’re into strong yet comforting coffee. The place has a cozy vibe, perfect for a quick coffee break or just to unwind. Would come back again for sure ☕”

“Located just next door from the National Library, this is the place to go before or after a hard study sesh, if that's what you're going to the library for. I went there when it was quiet in the morning and there's plenty of space to sit down and chill. It's refreshing that it's a place that encourages you to sit down and relax for a bit, as opposed to a lot of other coffee shops that encourage you to grab and fly right off.”

“Nice and rather unexpected coffee place which came as a surprise to us. When we walked into ASK Coffee at around 11am, it was empty and we got time to choose our coffee and get some recommendations. I took the Ethiopia single origin which was smooth and nicely balanced. By the time I had finished my meeting with a colleague, the cafe was full of people - clearly a testament to their great brews. Bravo to their team!”

“Was taking a walk around the corner and felt like having a cup of coffee then found out this incredible place in Google Map's recommendation. Entering the cafe was so warmed greeting from the barista with smiling faces. Order a Hot White and the barista recommended me their House Blended, serving me Cappuccino. They served Pour Over too. Gonna try it when visiting next time. The Barista is very knowledgeable on their coffee beans. So you wont get wrong when ordering a perfect coffee for the day.”
