“Husband and I took a private day tour of Bangkok with Sunsally as our guide. Price is a bit steep but probably because we booked it at the last minute. Came into Lembchabang on a cruise on 12/2, and booked a tour for 12/3. Very prompt communication from Caroline at Bangkok Day Tours, paid the 40% deposit online. Picked up by Sally promptly at 9 AM. We weren’t aware the balance payment was to be paid in Thai Baht cash (vs. credit card as we planned to pay) so a quick ATM stop at the Grand Palace, our first stop, was needed. Sally was an excellent tour guide, very engaging and informative, with an excellent grasp of English. Highlight of our tour was the long tail boat ride through the canals of Bangkok and seeing the incredible Wat Arun. It takes 2 hours (at least) to get from the cruise port to Bangkok and vice versa so it’s a long day, but the private tour is worth it. Book ahead to get competitive pricing, but don’t miss this tour!”
“ANZAC Day 2025 3 day tour including Hell Fire Pass Dawn Service, War cemeteries, bridge over the River Kwai and Thai Burma railway. I strongly recommend this small group tour for anyone wanting an unforgettable ANZAC day experience in Thailand. Our tour guide was Sally. She was the perfect host, providing lots of information and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We traveled in comfort in a small van seating a maximum of 4 in absolute luxury. Thanks to Sally and Bangkok Day Tours for an unforgettable ANZAC Day experience.”
“A Once-in-a-Lifetime Adventure Our all-day tour in Bangkok with our amazing guide, Sally, was nothing short of magical! My girlfriend, Saki, and I started our adventure at 6 AM, and from the very first stop at the historic Bridge of Death, we knew we were in for an unforgettable experience. The highlight of the day was visiting the zoo, where we had the rare opportunity to feed baby tigers and lions—an absolutely incredible experience! The excitement continued with a safari ride through the sanctuary, where we hand-fed giraffes, marveled at majestic lions and tigers, spotted a mighty gorilla, and encountered countless other animals, from elegant flamingos to gentle deer. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, we arrived at the elephant sanctuary. Feeding, riding bareback, and then taking the elephants to the river for a playful and refreshing bath was an experience we’ll cherish forever. The bond we felt with these gentle giants was truly heartwarming. To top it all off, we ended the tour with a delicious meal at a lovely restaurant, all included. Throughout the day, Sally was the perfect guide—friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. She went above and beyond, capturing every moment with a million photos and videos, ensuring we could relive the magic again and again. If you’re looking for an adventure-packed, well-organized, and truly memorable tour in Bangkok, this is the one! Thank you, Sally, for making it so special! 🐘🦒🦁✨”
“5 Stars hands down. We arranged for a full day private tour with Bangkok Day Tours. Caroline's communications were timely, responsive, and thorough. They were totally flexible with all of my requests. She totally took the stress out of making arrangements. The guide Sally became like family from the first few minutes. Why go with a big group or pay for one with the cruise line when you can curate your own.”
“This tour was honestly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I still haven’t recovered emotionally. Feeding baby tigers and lion cubs?? I literally died from the cuteness. Like—they were SO tiny and fluffy I almost cried. Walking with a tiger was terrifying and thrilling at the same time—my soul left my body at least twice, but it was insanely cool. And then, just when I thought the day couldn’t get any wilder… we rode elephants AND bathed with them. Yes, actually in the water. With elephants. I’m still screaming internally. We also got to feed giraffes, see bears and monkeys—it felt more like a safari in Africa than a day in Thailand. And after all that emotional damage (in the best way), we had a really nice buffet lunch to recharge. Our guide, Sally, was the sweetest—so helpful, told us fun stuff about Thailand during the drive, and took loads of photos for us all day. Total angel. If you love animals, chaos, and crying over cuteness, this tour is for you. 12/10 would do again (if I ever emotionally recover).”
