“We went on a food tour with Mod and she was great! So energetic, knowledgeable, and funny. She also went out of the way to accommodate me as a vegetarian and even purchased tofu somewhere else beforehand. She even asked one of the noodle stalls to use vegetable oil instead of lard. I really appreciate the extra attention she put into taking care of everyone while making our stomachs hurt with laughter and delicious food!”

Our tour guide led us through homestyle restaurants and street vendors, many of them Michelin guide recommended, explaining each dish before leaving us to eat our weights worth. You will not be hungry at the end of this tour!!! The night finished off at the 24/7 flower market, before heading to a rooftop bar with a stunning view of Wat Arun. Our driver Mr. Pong was professional and punctual, an expert navigator of Bangkok's chaotic streets. Our guide Bume was incredibly knowledgeable of Thai food and history. She made my birthday unforgettable by making an extra stop at some beautiful temples, and organising a birthday cake for me with very minimal notice! Thank you Mr. Pong and Bume!!!”

“The Bangkok food tour was a wholesome experience from start to finish. I loved exploring the local street food and learning the story behind every dish. Riding in a tuk tuk between stops added so much fun. I never thought I would be able to experiment so much with food as a vegetarian, but thanks to Bangkok Food Tours, all my preferences were taken care of. Chanya, our tour guide, made sure we were comfortable with the vegetarian dishes, instructing every vendor to give us the authentic Thai taste in vegetarian versions. The tour includes 5 to 7 food stops, plus a bonus stop at a rooftop restaurant where we enjoyed a drink while taking in the view. If there is only one guided tour you do in the city, it has to be this one. Tip: Make sure to eat a little at every stop to fully enjoy the experience.”

Ice was the best tour guide, explaining all the ingredients of each dish and giving some background information of the areas we went to, all while sprinkling in charm and humor along the way.
