“Loved my experience with Cazo. I really wanted to have a custom jacket made while in Vietnam and, after being turned away from another tailor due to timing, rocked up to Cazo unannounced. From the initial meeting I was very happy with the accommodation and honesty of the team. Awesome amount of fabrics to choose from. I really wanted a brown linen jacket which I found the perfect fabric for. I then decided I’d get a pair of wool/silk/linen pants after enquiring about this kind of material. I was informed immediately that the fabric I chose only had x amount of metres meaning I couldn’t have the cuffed hem that I wanted, which I accepted. Then, I was asked to come back same day for a proper fitting. After working with the team to confirm when I’d return to Hanoi we arranged the pick up date. The attached photo is me, happy after trying on the kit and having the pants altered on the spot! I think to wrap up my experience, I’d say this; I really loved the whole journey start to finish. My only criticism is the fact that the pants ended up being slimmer than I wanted and I’d put it down to two things-my rushed interactions and the limited fabric availability. If you want to get the best of Cazo make sure you have more time than I did (both fittings I quickly had to leave due to other deadlines) and also make sure that you have enough fabric available (I’d say if the tailor mentions anything about limited fabric you should re-consider your fabric selection) Overall I loved it. The above is to help inform people like me who like looser cut garments ensure they get what they’re after. Pants and jacket both still fit great and I am a very happy customer. Measurements are also saved on file for future purchases and they ship internationally in USD! :)”
“Adding comments after seeing the shop’s reply. Hi there, I’m the wife here! I felt compelled to comment after seeing the owner’s reply. My husband is of a very average American build and he rotates 40–50 suits for work every weekday (more back in the states), typically in the $700–$1,600USD price range. We heard great things about Vietnamese tailors, and after visiting several shops, my husband chose Cazo for their nice breathable materials. I agree that a professional tailor should require no more than two fittings(this is not our first time tailor-made suits experience, we have been living in the region for more than 7 years). My husband works in a formal setting and cannot wear the 'skinny fit' style (extremely tight with short, ankle-showing pants). Maybe because of the miscommunication initially, (I think what happened is, we didn’t want to have extremely loose, baggy designs. I haven’t talked to him yet at this point), he asked for a more traditional(compare to ‘skinny-fit’) looser cut. Despite our three-week holiday in Vietnam, we ended up needing four official fitting sessions, including one just hours before our flight. (In fact, Morgan walked back to the shop on two other occasions when we realized Cazo wasn’t actually closed. Our taxi passed by and we saw them measuring other customers, yet when Morgan went in—once on Christmas Eve for the second fitting and again to see if the suits were ready to try on—he was turned away. He respected their timing, but this really added unnecessary stress to our trip. After his fourth fitting on our departure date, we finally decided to just have the suits shipped to our address. I’ve added more pictures. Please look at them for yourselves (I haven't even shown these to my husband yet because I didn't want him to feel worse than he was). Two suits here you can see the yourselves. These are roughly $700 USD suits from Cazo, not a $100-$200 cheaper suits. I find the shop’s reply very disappointing and am happy to share their WhatsApp communications. My husband has been reasonable and respectful. My best recommendation is to have sufficient time for four fittings. After three fittings, I ran out of time and had to have my three suits mailed home with hope and faith. Waist still too big creating pleat folds with belt, back two belt loops tugging at the fabric and likely to cause premature wear, side pockets still not laying flat, back pockets now hard to reach comfortably as they now lie too far toward back center, crotch set too low and binds walking, calf so tight that I can’t put on socks. I did appreciate they mailed suits and sent tracking number before demanding payment of balance. Photos show pockets before and after third fitting.”
“I recently had a suit tailored here and couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final fitting, the entire process was seamless and highly professional. What really stood out was how relaxed the team made me feel throughout, never rushed or pressured. If you’re looking for a high quality tailored suit and a stress-free experience, I highly recommend them”
“This is a really great tailor shop! We went here on a Thursday and two days later the fitting was done. Four days later we picked up the final suit. It was really nice to be able to pick out the materials for the outside and inside as well. My fiance doesn't wear suits but we are getting married so he needed one. The owner was very helpful in picking out the colors and styles that would look good on my fiance. I was really impressed! I highly recommend this shop if you are in Hanoi and have a week or so to get a suit made to order!”
“I’m really happy with my suit and the overall experience. The team was very kind and professional throughout the whole process. You can tell they take their work seriously — we came back several times for fittings and measurements, which shows their attention to detail. They really listen to what you want, while also giving great advice to make sure the final result looks perfect. The fabrics are high quality, and the craftsmanship is solid. Overall, a very good experience. I definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a custom-made suit. It was about 500$”
