“Very expensive (~30,000 baht per day), my 14 month old has extremely low blood platelets. Our only pediatric hematology options were Ram Hospital and the public hospital where I heard the wait times are incredibly long. The IVIG treatment is about 1/3 the price of what it would cost in the states being the only brightside. For the parents reading this review, I think all of you would agree that to save your child's life in an emergency, the price might be tough to swallow but there is no price that one can put on the life of our children. To the pediatric hematologist, Pattra Thanarattanakorn, Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Her concern for our child extended far beyond the clinical aspect as she demonstrated an empathy and suggested options in case the cost of the treatment would have been prohibitively high. That concern also extends to the wonderful nursing staff om floor 7 who were exceptional in softening the financial impact by offering us options to reduce the price of the treatment. Although we are incredibly fortunate that we were financially able to approve the recommended treatment without hesitation, knowing that many people without insurance would bear a substantial financial burden due to the high cost of the treatment, I cant help but appreciate the staff making every effort to mitigate the high cost of treatment. I was prepared to fly him to bumrungrad hospital in bangkok but am very happy we stayed at Ram as our son's recovery is fully on track.”

“The nurses are really helpful, and good person. They care of you. The rooms are big. But the insurance department are the most difficult thing in the whole country. My insurance company sent a mail to the hospital, where they write in crystal clear, they will cover my bill. It wasn't enough for them, they wanted different mail, but they didn't ask anything from my company. They threatened me with police, if I leave. But also they said I can't stay there more days. Totatally stupid. Another options to leave there a full amount in cash(!)... Other things; I asked a water, when I fight this situation. After 15 minutes they said it's 40 baht more... I say no way. After when I finally have a chance to leave this circus I saw many free water hotspots in the 1st, and 4th level... They wanted to charged me 40 baht, while they have free water. By the way, I went to this hospital, because I dehydrated... That was when I totally upset, and write this 1star review.”

“We visited Dr. Pattra Thanarattanakorn today with my son for his vaccination, and we had a very positive experience. Dr. Thanarattanakorn was extremely calm, kind, and professional throughout the entire visit. She speaks excellent English, which made communication very easy and comfortable for us. She took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently, making sure we understood the procedure and felt at ease. Her caring and gentle approach helped my son feel safe, and we truly appreciated her attentiveness and compassion. We would also like to highlight that the entire Pediatrics team, including the nurses, were at the highest professional level. Everyone was kind, supportive, and made us feel very welcome. Additionally, the hospital offers a large and convenient parking area, so we had no problem finding a parking space, which made our visit even more comfortable.
