“I really wanted to like Copper in Bangkok, but overall the experience was disappointing. Most of the dishes were bland, lacking depth of flavor, and often served lukewarm or cold. The atmosphere felt more like a school cafeteria than a premium dining experience. I do believe they use good-quality ingredients, but good ingredients alone are not enough if the food has no character. That said, the service was excellent — very kind, professional, and attentive throughout the visit. There were a few highlights that truly stood out: the Pad Thai was outstanding, honestly the best I’ve ever had. The fresh lobster was very good, and the Wagyu Pad Kra Pao was also a strong dish. As for dessert, the ice cream from Guss Damn Good — one of the best in the world — was fantastic. Unfortunately, those few highlights were not enough to balance the overall experience.”
“Located on the 3rd floor of Gaysorn Amarin, right above the famous Louis Vuitton café in Bangkok, Copper Beyond Buffet is currently one of the city’s hottest buffet spots. We made an online reservation and payment in advance. It’s recommended to arrive about 15 minutes early to check in at the counter, where the staff will assign your table number before guests are let in according to the reservation queue. This time we went for the basic package, which costs around 1,499 THB per person. The buffet works with a mix of self-service and à la carte ordering. Some items like salads, desserts, and certain cooked dishes are available at the buffet stations, while many of the main dishes need to be ordered from the menu. I’d recommend checking the menu online beforehand — every dish comes with an English name and item number, so you can simply tell the ordering counter the numbers you want. The overall concept leans more towards a refined dining-style buffet rather than a traditional large-portion buffet. Portions are relatively small, which actually makes it easier to try more dishes throughout the meal. Even the Western-style mains were surprisingly good and well-executed. The restaurant itself is very spacious, with a modern copper-toned interior design that feels stylish and upscale. The semi-open kitchen lets you watch the chefs prepare the food, and the cleanliness standards seemed very good. There were also plenty of staff around, and empty plates were cleared very quickly, so the table never felt cluttered. Overall, it’s definitely on the more expensive side for a buffet in Bangkok, but if you’re looking for a buffet with a beautiful atmosphere and more refined dishes, it’s still absolutely worth trying.”
“The quality of food served is great and this place is definitely a must visit for any meat and seafood lover. The service of the food is quick and the food itself is plated meticulously and looks fantastic. The only issue I have is that it's so cold in the restaurant that the food goes cold in less than a couple minutes on your table. You need to wait in line to order which is fine and need to place orders for multiple dishes at the same time which is also fine, my only problem which definitely dampened my experience was the fact that the Air conditioning was so strong my food went cold before I could even finish clicking a photo of it. Their desserts though are out of this world, I do understand people will want to fill up on the main dishes but trust me you will definitely regret it, if you don't try out their desserts. My standouts were their cheesecake, the macarons, the chocolate lava cake and the coffee caramel custard.”
“After hearing many YouTubers and friends describe this place as the “buffet ceiling” in Bangkok, we made a special trip to try it. Reservations must be made in advance and require full payment upfront. I heard that booking through LINE may be slightly cheaper, but since we don’t use LINE, we chose Package A (Select 1 Premium Menu) and selected the lobster. (THB2599) per person. The staff were polite and the check-in process was smooth and organized. However, the dining environment itself felt quite ordinary and does not really compare with the ambience of hotel buffets. The buffet format is also a little different from what I expected. Apart from a small selection of cooked items and soft drinks available for self-service, most dishes need to be ordered by queuing and are then delivered to your table by staff. Overall, the food was fairly average considering the hype. The wagyu was probably the highlight of the meal. The lobster (one per person) was served at the beginning, but by the time we ate it, it had cooled down and the cheese had hardened slightly. The seafood selection was somewhat limited. I was particularly disappointed with the oysters — they were quite small and had a noticeable metallic taste rather than the large, creamy oysters I had heard about. That said, the plating and presentation of the dishes were quite refined and visually appealing. As someone who enjoys buffets and even traveled from overseas to try this place, the experience felt a little underwhelming for the price. It may still be worth trying once if you are curious, but it’s probably not somewhere I would go out of my way to revisit.”
“Everything is great over here for the price you pay. Try to go for lighter dishes if you want to spare more time trying most of Copper’s food and presentation. Beef and mutton steak are a bit oily and stuffy but worth a single bite. Love their dessert most. Use HungryHub app to book in advance. Booking is recommended. You still need to check in with your booking ticket once you arrived before queeing for your session. 11am session is the best especially on weekend. No need rush or chase for the food. Its plenty and some were made to order and they will send to your table. Everything is limitless. Go for their draught lemon juice if you want to ease your stomach.”
