“We visited Duong’s Restaurant as part of the MICHELIN Guide selection, looking for something a bit different, and it delivered a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant offers both Vietnamese and Western options, which makes it a great choice if you’re in the mood for variety. We started with the summer rolls, which were fresh and well prepared. For mains, we had the salmon and the rack of lamb, accompanied by roasted eggplant on the side. Everything was very good, with well-balanced flavors and solid execution. The purée that accompanied the dishes, along with the vegetables, stood out and complemented the mains particularly well. Overall, a very good option for dining in Hanoi, offering quality food and a varied menu in a comfortable setting.”

“Visited as a family of 6 and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, quickly rearranging tables to accommodate our group. They took our large order patiently and were so helpful in explaining exactly how to eat the traditional dishes to get the best flavor. ​The food was absolutely delicious: ​Turmeric Fish with Dill (Cha Ca): This was a highlight! Served sizzling in a pan at the table, the fish was tender and aromatic, perfectly complemented by the mountain of fresh dill and scallions. ​Fresh Spring Rolls: These were beautifully made and tasted very fresh. Packed with crisp herbs and vermicelli, they paired perfectly with the savory dipping sauce and crushed peanuts. ​Lemongrass Pork Skewers (Nem Lui): The meat was smoky and juicy, grilled right on the lemongrass stalks. It came with a generous basket of fresh greens and noodles for wrapping. ​Duck Breast: A beautifully plated dish that felt very fine-dining. The duck had perfectly crispy skin and tender meat, served with a smooth purée that balanced the savory flavors. ​Beef Pho: A comforting bowl of soup with a clean, flavorful broth. It was served piping hot with plenty of green onions and tender beef slices. ​Highly recommend for the warm hospitality and authentic flavors!”

“This is a good place for a Vietnamese set meal for around 20 bucks that is definitely worth the price if you want to be in aircon and in a elegant yet simple environment. The service is a bit lazy but the dishes are spot on with delicious spring rolls, a fragrant Pho, a nicely cooked catfish or BBQ pork skewers and a fabulous cinnamon ice cream.”

“Delicious and relaxing last dinner in Hanoi. Everything was very good, I order the traditional menu n. 2, with spring and summer rolls, pho (the best I ever ate) and other delicious dishes. Absolutely recommended.”
