“We stumbled upon EM’s Bakery on our Christmas Day morning walk.. You could smell the delicious scents of fresh croissants from the street, so we popped in to have a look.. We decided to dine in, sitting on the street facing bench. Both the custard filled Christmas Bow and croissants were fresh, light and fluffy.. probably the best croissant I’ve had A gem of a find 🎄”

“We were wandering around the Old Town and stumbled upon this bakery. The pastries feel very French-inspired, so of course we had to try a few. We ordered the orange citrus, strawberry, and passion fruit puff, and all three were delicious. What I really appreciated is that none of the pastries were overly sweet, which is a big compliment. The orange one was my favorite—the slight bitterness from the chocolate mousse paired beautifully with the citrus flavor. All of the pastries were also visually stunning and definitely eye-catching. Service was relatively fast. Prices may be considered high by local standards, but at around USD4 per pastry, it felt like a good value for us. The seating inside was comfortable, making it a nice spot to sit, relax, and people-watch. We didn’t try any drinks since we already had sparkling water with us, but overall, this is a great place to take a break from walking around the Old Town and escape the crowds and persistent vendors for a bit.”

“Late in the evening we realized we were hungry, but not enough for a full dinner, so we went out looking for some baked food and ended up in this place. When we saw the pizzas, we immediately liked the size — not too small and not too big, just perfect. We ordered four different flavors, and each one was delicious and truly matched its name. I’m not an expert in Italian cuisine, but to me it felt like real Italian pizza, with bright, interesting toppings and great flavor combinations. The Four Cheese pizza was our favorite. Because it was already late in the evening, we were offered a 50% discount, which was a very pleasant bonus to an already tasty meal. Definitely a great find for a late-night bite. ‐---‐---‐-‐--- In search of sweet adventures, the colorful mini cakes caught our attention, and we decided to try one of each. Everyone had a different favorite, but the green one was liked by all of us. While the desserts were great, I can’t say the same about the coffee. The coconut coffee was simply awful, and I was very disappointed. I don’t understand how the flavor could be ruined so badly. The egg coffee and hot salted coffee were okay.”

“This café-cum-bakery is a bread enthusiast’s dream in Hoi An. We came early enough to enjoy a freshly baked baguette, and it was absolutely worth it - the fresh breads are definitely the way to go. The coffee selection is decent, and I was particularly impressed that they managed to make my partner’s cappuccino properly hot. He’s European, so his idea of “hot” is burning hot, whereas many places in Vietnam tend to serve it a bit lukewarm.”

“We came for a decadent afternoon tea and decided to try three delicious cakes… exceptional! You must stop when you see these colourful treats in the window, and go inside. It is worth it.”
