Embargo Craft Beer Phnom Penh

“I see now this is a bar with some food options. Its selling point appears to be its craft beer selection (I don't drink). I had the pasta carbonara and staff told me it's ordered from outside and comes in a box, not on a plate like in the photo on the menu. Flavour was passable, but portion size was very small for the US$9+ charged. If you can find someone to make this in-house and make it well you'll be onto an absolute winner. Grape juice was okay. Beer drinkers seem to love this place, but I wouldn't do it again for the food I had. A positive is that the staff were lovely.”

“Embargo, a hidden gem tucked away in Langka Lane. A cool, intimate space with a terrific selection of Vietnamese craft beers on tap and in the fridge. The owner and the entire team on site are exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable about their brews. It is easily one of the best spots in Phnom Penh for a relaxed drink with a great vibe. Highly recommended!”

“Lovely selection of craft beer, a selection of local and overseas beer. Tried the Riel Brewery Chocolate stout. It had yummy notes of dark chocolate, black coffee, sweet and light bodied. One of the owners Jeff was really friendly and all. Please do support this fairly new watering hole”
