“We had a great experience at Fisherman’s Restaurant and Bar. The location is beautiful, right by the beach, especially nice around sunset. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual dinner or drinks by the sea. The food was fresh and tasty, especially the seafood. Dishes were well prepared, nicely served, and portions were satisfying. Drinks were good, cold, and reasonably priced for the location. Service was friendly and attentive without being pushy. Everything felt easy and chill, which fits the vibe of Koh Phangan perfectly. A solid spot for good food, a nice view, and a relaxed evening. Definitely worth a visit.”

“Fantastic restaurant and bar with a truly unique atmosphere. The ambient feels like a hidden beach bar on the sand, tucked away in the shade with relaxing music playing in the background. The seafood is extremely fresh and well prepared, which makes the whole experience even better. The only downside is that they don’t accept cards, so make sure to bring cash. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy great food.”

“The Fisherman’s was hands down the best restaurant experience I had in Thailand. The location alone is stunning – directly on the beach, super inviting, relaxed and just beautiful, especially in the evening. The cocktails are on another level. Honestly some of the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere in the world – and I’ve traveled quite a lot. Perfectly balanced, high quality and made with real care. The food was outstanding. The fish was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection – simple, clean flavors, but executed at a very high level. You can really taste the quality. What made the experience even better was the owner/chef. He personally gave us recommendations and explained how to eat certain dishes properly – every single suggestion was spot on. The service team deserves a special mention as well: extremely friendly, professional and well trained, without ever feeling stiff or artificial. For me, The Fisherman’s was the best dining experience on Koh Phangan – and honestly one of the best I’ve had in Thailand. Highly recommended. I would come back anytime.”

“We had snapper in marsala sauce and medium fish plate. Marsala sauce was good but it was more curry than marsala. Squid, mussels and prawns on the fish plate were completely tasteless. We agreed that best piece on the table was the corn. Service guys were nice and kind but the food was bad.”

The food is incredibly fresh — you can really taste that everything comes straight from the sea. The grilled seafood platter and crab curry are outstanding, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want on a tropical island: relaxed, local, and right by the beach. The staff are warm, attentive, and make you feel like a regular from the first moment. Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic Thai seafood and wants a memorable dining experience by the water.”
