“Tour code : PG-MF-251225-PCC-3X Country : 9D8N Splendid Zhangjiajie (Zhangjiajie / Fenghuang / Furong Town / Changsha ) Departure date : 25/12/25 Tour Leader : Ann Marie Tour Guide : 周杰 This was my first time joining a GD tour group, and overall the experience was quite good. The itinerary was well planned, and we visited most of the key attractions in Zhangjiajie. The accommodation was satisfactory. However, there is still room for improvement when it comes to meals. I hope future arrangements can avoid repetitive dishes and offer more variety in the food. Special praise goes to the local guide, Zhou Jie, who is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Zhangjiajie. His explanations were vivid and engaging, which greatly enhanced the journey (though he did occasionally go off topic, which is something to be mindful of). The tour leader, Ann Marie will take care of the team members. However, at times she was a bit verbose, and her grasp of itinerary-related knowledge seemed relatively weak. She also appeared nervous on occasion, giving the impression that her experience as a tour leader could be further strengthened. The driver also provided excellent service, with very steady and safe driving. The only regret was not having the opportunity to take a group photo with both the guide Zhou Jie and the driver. Overall, this was a positive travel experience. I would choose a GD tour again in the future and look forward to seeing even more polished and professional arrangements.”

The guide’s explanations were engaging and informative, adding great value to the overall experience. However, it was a slight pity that it snowed during this month, which meant we were unable to fully see Jiuzhaigou at its most beautiful and vibrant state. Nevertheless, the snowy scenery also offered a unique and different kind of charm. Overall, it was still a highly recommended tour, and with more favorable weather conditions, the experience would likely be even more perfect.”
