“My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience at this Michelin-star restaurant in Da Nang. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The ambience was beautiful—elegant, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying a memorable meal together. The food was absolutely great. Every dish was carefully prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can really see the attention to detail in every plate that comes out of the kitchen. What impressed us the most was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and very professional. They made sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout the entire evening. A very thoughtful touch was when they gave me a flower in celebration of International Women’s Month. It was such a simple but meaningful gesture that made the experience even more memorable for us. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience for both of us. Great food, wonderful ambience, and truly top-notch service. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Da Nang.”

Perched high above the city, the panoramic view was simply stunning seeing the city lights, and coastline coming together beautifully as the sun set. The team went above and beyond to help me plan a surprise mini birthday setup. From the discreet coordination to the thoughtful decorations, everything was handled with care and genuine warmth. Seeing my wife’s reaction made the night truly special. Dinner was equally impressive. The food was well-presented, flavours balanced and refined, and each dish paired perfectly with the drinks. The cocktails were crafted with precision — refreshing, smooth, and ideal for a relaxed celebration in the sky. What really stood out was the service: attentive without being intrusive, friendly, and sincerely invested in making the celebration memorable. “Came here on 1/31 for my birthday dinner. They did a fantastic job with the decorations and our server, Alice, was great. Excellent service 10/10. We ordered the octopus salad, shrimp salad, truffle pizza, masala pasta, braised pork cheek, and the sea bass. For dessert we had the tiramisu and cheesecake. All of the dishes were cooked perfectly, seasoned very well, and had good portions. Really glad I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, food + service were truly excellent, you can tell the staff are trained very well. Definitely recommend!!”

“My wife and I had dinner at Gypsy for my wife's birthday on Friday April 24th, 2026. From the moment we walked through the entryway we knew the night would be something special. The service was exceptional - staff constantly ready to top up glasses etc, without being in any way intrusive. The food was beautifully prepared, cooked and presented and was absolutley delicious. Chef prepared a special amuse bouche which was divine. We started with oysters and the goat's cheese salad. Although the oysters are a little smaller than we are used to in Australia, they were excellent. The goat's cheese salad was delicious. For mains, I had the mushroom rigatoni and my wife had the seafood risotto and they were both absolutely delicious. The wine list was pretty extensive and reasonably priced for Vietnam, where wines can be quite expensive. We finished off with the blueberry cheesecake, presented with the staff all singing "Happy Birthday". We had such a great night that as we were walking out, we made another booking for our last night in Danang. We highly recommend Gypsy rooftop - it was a sensational experience. Update; we returned on Monday night 4th May 2026. The scallop tartare was delicious, as was the salmon spaghetti. Service was again sensational. We will definitely be back next time we visit Danang.”

“I decided to come to Gypsy Rooftop because I thought it was cool spot to see the city of Đa Nang from. I have to say that this spot blew my socks off. The poolside lounge has a 180° view of the city and is tastefully decorated with an option to dine inside the restaurant. The restaurant offers a fusion of Mediterranean cuisine with a Vietnamese flare. I ordered the waygu linguine and my partner ordered the truffle rigatoni. The noodles we done to perfection, the meat portion was plenty, and the PORTIONS were rather large (I can't believe I'm writing this :o). The servers ended up adding more truffle aioli to my partners dish, which we thought was a hit overkill, as the rigatoni was quite rich. I honestly think that the portions could be a little bit smaller because the dishes are rich with flavours that it is impossible to eat the whole thing; the prices should also reflect the smaller portion sizes. The service was top notch. All the servers spoke english and we're well versed in suggesting wine pairings to along with the dishes. My partner absolutely loved the cocktails he had there. Needless to say, we'll be going back before we leave.”
