Hanoi Homebrew - Local Craft Beer - Micro Brewery - Sport Bar

“I took a long 5.2km walk to this place, burning calories before putting back some calories. The afternoon crowd was sparse and two gentlemen were here before me enjoying their drink. Glancing through the menu, it was a no-brainer going for the Beer Flight - consisting 8 beers on tap. Shortly after, a variety of beers from lagers to stout were presented before me in 4s. While not orderly arranged, the lady in the house explained each beer patiently. A plate of free chips (Lays i believe) was given free for this flight. As usual I tasted from light to heavy. Lager was normal but Citra Fog Hazy IPA was good. The stout was also to my liking, it being a Choco Stout carrying sweet notes. The Juciy Pineapple deserves a special mention, as I rarely come across a pineapple in beers. Personally I wished there were a wider selection of bar bites, along the line of meat to complement the beers. The only meat option was popcorn chicken, not really my thing but could be good for many out there. I sat right at the front of the bar facing the main road. It was 26°c and traffic was not too bad (meaning pollution was not too bad). Bike and people come and go, and it was nice immersing in this environment durinng winter in Dec 2025.”

“1st day in Hanoi, got lost and stubbled on Hanoi Homey by accident. Combination of a taste of "bears from home" and decent music lulled me in. Having tasted Frulli back home I was tempted by the Strawberry lager and other fruit beers. Not only did they refreshingly hit the spot, the absolutley charming hostess ( yes more than a bargirl !) , was attentive to every guest with her welcome and pleasant approach. Nice little venue, great beer and a warm atmosphere”

“The beer is good…. But the place is so dirty and disgusting I was afraid to order a snack to go with that good beer….!! The back room and kitchen are worse….!! The glass that the beer appears clean. Sorry because the beer is good… I travel the world full time and have not seen such a disgusting mess after I sit and ordered a beer and didn’t eat the food….!!”

“We stopped by this beer resto before heading to the airport and ordered the apple and apricot ciders. Both were sweet but still had the richness of beer. Highly recommended!”

“This place has very good beer and it’s a great spot to relax and check out all of the people and activities going on outside. The beer tender was very nice and welcoming! My husband and I had the Pilsner and it was so delicious! On a side note, we are kind of like beer snobs because we are from Portland Oregon where breweries are top notch. We highly recommend this nice beer stop!”
