“I called the day before to make an appointment for an X-ray on my neck due to ongoing pain issues. I was informed that I would need to see the orthopaedic specialist first. On arrival I handed my passport, a registration form was completed, I was then transferred to another desk where a nurse took my blood pressure and weight. 5 minutes later I met with the orthopaedic specialist explained my situation where he recommended two X-rays (500 baht) per picture. The nurse escorted me to X-rays, 10 minutes later I was back with the orthopaedic specialist reviewing the X-rays. He explained in very clear English what the condition is, treatment options including medication and physiotherapy. The medication he recommended was priced ridiculously high for the hospital pharmacy, I took a screenshot and sent to my pharmacy who could provide the same medication for 70% less. Overall I was very pleased with the service, process and price for the treatment. 1,800 baht for two X-ray and two consultations with an orthopaedic specialist is very reasonable. I was in/out within an hour ✌️”

“This was our first visit to a Thai hospital, in Pattaya, in our case, for an allergic reaction to some food. We phoned ahead to register and got an appointment an hour later. We arrived (non emergency) and were through reception, vitals checked, etc. in ten minutes. We waited about twenty minutes to see a doctor, get assessed, get a diagnosis, and a very clear explanation of the issue with a prescription. We were offered further tests if we wanted, in the future. The whole process lasted about an hour and cost 920 baht cash, about $40 Canadian. All the staff were friendly, polite, and patient. Everyone, including the doctor were competent, in professional uniforms, I should add, and extremely helpful overall. The hospital is modern, quite new, very clean, and efficient in design. This was a shock to my wife and I who are from Canada where doctor availability is abysmal and hospitals are understaffed, inefficient, and by my extensive personal experience, poorly managed. It was like night and day. We are told this is one of three hospitals that are available in the area, which are all pretty similar. Hopefully we don’t need to return, but if we have to, we will without hesitation. Highly recommended.”

“I had a checkup at Jomtien Hospital today. Jan 14, 2025. I went with a friend to get the 2 person discount. Only 5390 for a thorough checkup. The hospital was the busiest I have ever seen it since it opened. However, they were able to process us through fairly quickly. The staff were very nice and the facilities are good.”

“We started off really well at 21:45 with an open cut at the arm. 2h later we are still here with almost no patients wiring for Stiches my father is over 70 and when I ask how much longer it would be I was accused of wanting to complain and was told I can do so formally. I felt kind of insulted I have been nothing but nice. So far we are still here waiting for the stitches. The only helpful person was at reception.”
