“A hidden gem amongst the hustle and bustle of the crazy Bangkok nightlife. They specialize in craft beers and have an amazing variety to choose from both local and foreign. The staff is welcoming and super friendly. They will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. This was one of my favorite craft beer bars in Bangkok. If you are in the city then do yourself a favor and check them out.”

“IMO, the best bars and eateries are mostly always away from the main streets and crowded areas. This is certainly true for Libertich, a terrific wee gem of a cocktail and craft beer bar in the central Sukhumvit area (Sukhumvit 41 - close to Sukhumvit Road and pretty easy to find). Walking into the Sukhumvit 41 lane was like being transported to a back alley in Osaka or Tokyo. It is filled with Japanese restaurants and bars, which was very cool. Libertich is just about bang in the middle of the lane, opposite the Peony Club. First impressions matter, and I was immediately drawn to the bar’s large wooden door and the “war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength” art on the outside entrance floor – this is a bar unlike many others. This was confirmed when I walked in. I was struck by the bar’s darkness, sleekness, and coolness. There are tables and chairs on one side and a long bar counter on the other. The ceiling is also decorated with a great mural – there’s another at the back. But I was here for the beers and was impressed by the range of local and imported brews. From memory, the local brands include Devanom, Sandport, and Underdog. The Raven IPA was my favorite of the night. I also enjoyed the continuous plates of popcorn served. The warmth and friendliness of the Libertich team is another big positive- they are simply the best, and I will return because of them, the fab ambience, the affordability of the drinks, and the many more beers to try.”

“Great bar to chill. The owner is extremely humble and very welcoming. I loved the vibe but most importantly, the selection of beer. One of the best selections I have come across in my life. A must visit for anyone in the area. They also have great cocktails but I didn’t try any.”
