Maison Sen Buffet

“We reserved a place for dinner via our hotel. The wait staff, Mr Doan was very enthusiastic and quickly showed us to our table. His service during the entire night was nothing short of fantastic. He saw that we had trouble dealing with the crabs and prawns and took the initiative to peel them for us. He also came around frequently, asked about the food and recommended us the salmon sashimi! The food at the buffet was great. Of course, with all buffets, there were hits and misses. The hits for me were the Vietnamese food, the freshly cooked seafood, the sashimi, and the desserts and fruits. The misses were mainly in the western section with the pizza, wings and ribs not making the cut for me. The western area duck, on the other hand, was superb. Later in the night, the manager dropped by asking about the food, and seeing that we were from Singapore, gave us 2 soft toys (a very nice gesture). Overall, this buffet is superb, selection adequate (for the price), service was phenomenal throughout.”

“Dined here many times with my family, everyone love it. With less than 600k per person, we got good choices of fresh local seafood and salmon. The restaurant is spacious, the service is attentive, so the overall experience here each time is excellent.”

“🐚 Plus: seafood selection - highlight were the oysters, clams, scallops (raw, grilled with garlic, grilled with cheese) were replenished pretty much instantly - crabs, prawns, sashimi, etc were also present 🍖 🍪 Cons: meat and dessert lacking - lack of meat options: no beef and pretty only 3 meat selections that were not very good - desserts only consisted of some small cakes, creme brulé, egg tarts (gone with the first hour or so). Nothing special - the ice cream station is very unhygienic, consider getting staff to scoop it instead of letting patrons dip their own hands into the buckets of ice cream Atmosphere: crowded Food and seating area separated by a small flight of stairs. 🦪 I will come back simply for the seafood only 👍 that alone makes it worth it”

“• A very good buffet in general, it's real treat for seafood lovers however I was a little bit disappointed with the crabs and the lobster(?) soup which I found very bland but the rest was delicious! I loved all the oysters (fresh and cooked), the clams... • I found the Facebook booking process a bit slow (but super easy!), and I had to ask my questions several times 'cause they only answered half of them each time (I had to ask 3 times if cards were accepted before they finally answered the question not a big deal but still), but they were very clear from the start about the price, menu and opening hours! They even send me a message hours before to check if I was still coming. • There's a great atmosphere and the restaurant is beautiful, but it's very noisy. • The waiter was very nice and responsive and kindly brought me a fresh, clean plate each time!”

“There aren't many seafood options, but the seafood is fresh. The dessert section is definitely a highlight. It's a great place to try other traditional Vietnamese dishes. The seating area is spacious, though the buffet area feels a bit cramped and crowded.”
