“The place is well decorated. Price is reasonable. Nice and spacious environment for eating and chit chatting. Food is good, personally for me. Pumpkin toufu, deep fried oyster mushroom and rainbow salad very appetising. Enjoy them. Others also not bad. Beetroot juice drink healthy and enjoyable at the same time.”
“This was the first vegan place we visited in Kuala Lumpur. Was overwhelmed by the quality and variety of food available. We ordered a lot of food. Everything was delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong here. The desserts was delicious. Service was good. The place had a huge sitting area and was nicely decorated.”
“Delicious vegan restaurant to support and visit on your trip to Kuala Lumpur! It has vegan bubble milk tea, waffles, cakes, and lots of brilliant savoury dishes too! It’s listed as being on the 3rd floor but you actually need to go up to the top floor (4th floor), so just keep looking for it as it was a little difficult to find.”
“The food was great, though the restaurant has a few quirks that are not ideal. It’s on the 3rd floor of an old mall called Wisma Cosway (and if like me you read that as Wizard Cosplay, you will be sorely disappointed). They want people to order by QR code, which I find inconvenient, especially as I’m not able to ask questions and discuss. I declined. They wanted payment immediately after ordering. My dragonfruit-lychee drink was very nice, but weird that it cost as much as a dish of food.”
“Tucked away on the third storey of an old shopping mall, just behind Pavilion KL, this Vegen Cafe has a delightful menu that showcase how Local Malaysian favourites can also be given a thoughtful plant-based twist without losing the richness and depth of flavour. We ordered their Penang Hokkien Beehun Soup, Vegan Butter Fried Mushroom with rice, Fried Wild Mushrooms and Vegan Satay Malaysia. Each dish felt balanced in flavours, hearty and satisfying, although some mushrooms could have been better cooked or handled, to get better bite texture. They also offer Gluten-Free options, vegan tarts, wholesome cakes and inventive sweet treats that surprise you with how indulgent dairy-free can be. Definitely a place worth returning to again for their offerings. The Cafe rediates a warmth vibe the moment you step in, as service staffs wholeheartedly welcome each patron into their cosy Cafe. However, the operator may want to do something about their existing AC system, so that the overall temperature of the cafe could be lower, in order for customer to enjoy their food in comfort, instead of sweating.”
