“Review: China Trip with New Motion Tour (April 11-20, 2026) Overall Experience: I recently joined the China trip with New Motion Tour from April 11 to 20, and it was truly a harmonious, lucky, and joyful journey. The food, as always with New Motion, was exceptional and never disappointed. Local Guides & Management: Chongqing, Beijing, and Shanghai: The local guides and overall management in these cities were excellent and highly professional. Xi'an: Unfortunately, the local guide performance and management in Xi'an were below expectations and could use significant improvement. Constructive Feedback for Future Excellence To further elevate the tour experience, I’d like to offer the following suggestions: Luggage Management (Train Transfers): Managing heavy luggage during all three train transfers was quite stressful, especially at non-originating stations (esp:chongqing) where the stop time is very short. Even though the team did their best, I suggest a more seamless porter service or luggage transfer system for a truly relaxing leisure experience. Additionally, staff should avoid suggesting that guests "bring their own help" for bags, as it doesn't align with a professional service mindset. Return Flight Logistics: It would be much more time-efficient for travelers if same-day transfer flights could be arranged for the return journey. Itinerary Duration: I would highly recommend adding at least one extra day each to Beijing and Shanghai, as there is so much more to explore in these vibrant cities. Special Appreciation: A huge thank you to Ma Thin for her meticulous planning and attention to detail. I would also like to give a special shout-out to Sis Ayekari. Her exceptional patience and her ability to coordinate and resolve issues smoothly throughout the journey were truly impressive. She handled everything with a positive attitude, making our trip much more comfortable. Closing Thoughts: It was a fantastic trip with a wonderful group of people.
