“Having been a fan of the original Honolu Ramen in Shibuya, I was curious to see if the TRX outlet could live up to the hype—and it absolutely does. The Special Rich Ramen captures that same deep, soul-warming umami that made me fall in love with the OG branch. The broth is incredibly thick and creamy, which is exactly what you want from an authentic chicken paitan. It’s rare to find a spot that maintains such high standards when expanding internationally, but they’ve nailed the consistency here. The Wagyu Ramen (Original) was a standout for me; the beef was tender and added a luxurious depth to the bowl without overpowering the delicate noodles. For those who like a bit of heat, the Spicy Special Rich Ramen provides a punchy kick that balances the richness of the broth perfectly. We also shared the Spicy Fried Chicken (5 pcs), which was juicy on the inside with a satisfyingly crisp coating—definitely the best side dish to round out the meal. The atmosphere at The Exchange TRX is modern and inviting, making it a great spot for both a quick lunch or a proper sit-down dinner. Even if you haven't been to the Tokyo branches, this is easily some of the best halal ramen you can find in KL. Great service, generous portions, and flavors that truly transport you back to Japan. A must-visit for any ramen enthusiast!”

“Its my third time here. I really like the location, where it located at the alley of the TRX, so it less crowded and the ambiance is very zen. The food is very nice, the broth is very thick and creamy but still savoury, not too spicy or too sweet. The taste very balanced. The price is quite high to be compared with other ramen, but considering it was prepared very well by the chef where you can feel that it takes a lot in preparations, so it was OK.”

“The food were good, i got the miso special chicken ramen i think, the broth was a bit thick compared to the place that I frequent go to and it has less chicken-y smell or taste. Taste-wise it is good but it is on a pricier side of the ramens that I have tasted before. My friend got the chicken cutlet katsu curry, she also said it was nice but nothing of the ordinary from the other katsu curryy, will definitely come again to try their other ramen :)”

“Honolu Ramen. The taste is just okay. Not exactly the same as how i tasted in Japan. The condiments are different too. Had once before i went to Japan at their pop up store in Lot 10, it was good. But after i return from Japan. The taste didnt add up.”

“Amazing. The broth is so thick & flavourful. The dry ramen is also extremely delicious. The best ramen so far for me! Quite pricey considering the small portions. Bought two bowls coz it's not enough 😂🙏🏻 Really wish they could increase the portion a bit. Great experience. Love the ambience as well. 10/10, will definitely come again!”
