“Most places serve Ba Mee with pork, but this shop is different — their Ba Mee comes with chicken wings instead. The chicken is tender, flavorful, and feels carefully prepared rather than rushed. The soup has a very gentle, comforting taste that doesn’t overpower the noodles, making it easy to enjoy every bite. You can really feel that balance is important here. Both versions are highly recommended: the soup version is light and soothing, perfect if you want something warm and calming, while the dry (no-soup) version lets you enjoy the noodles and seasoning more directly. Each has its own charm, and it’s worth trying both if you have the chance. If you’re looking for a Ba Mee that’s a little different from the usual pork-based style, with a softer, more refined flavor, this place is definitely worth visiting.”

“My family's experience with this place is generational. My grandparents came here, my father came here, these days I genuinely enjoy coming here. Everyone who works here is stellar in service, it's got the charm of the usual mom-n-pop shop or local stores. The food's great and I get childishly giddy to come here most the time. The cooks will remember you by order and name if you come a few times, they'll recite your order perfectly and sometimes even save you some of your favorites if they know you're coming. The atmosphere is quiet and pretty local, it's nice, laid back and the food's at a good price for how filling and tasty it is. If you're trying to get away from chain-restaurants or trying to taste what actual locals love to eat around town, this has to be the place. This place reminds me of living in Bangkok in general, it's homey and always cozy when I get to have a bowl. I'll come here again and again, it's that great.”

“Eventhough the shop has long story, but right now, the taste seem drop from original flavor. It is also too expensive for local people and get only small portion of chicken. Not worth the price. But foreigner might think this is still worth the price given your income.”

“Sai Nam Pheung Chicken Wing Noodles serves delicious chicken noodle soup with wantan noodles in a old school shop that’s on Sukhumvit Soi 18/1. Chicken wing has really tender meat. Noodles offer a nice bite (not too soft) and broth has a clean taste of chicken soup. (Note: address on Google Maps appears to show Soi 18, that’s incorrect, the physical location is correct - Soi 18/1 is between Soi 18 and Soi 20)”
