“Absolutely outstanding sushi experience! The fish was incredibly fresh, and this was hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life. Every bite was perfection. A special shoutout to Peter his service was 100/10. His explanations for each dish were clear, thoughtful, and really elevated the entire experience. You could feel how much passion and knowledge he has. The chefs, Jeng and Kila, were absolutely amazing. They were attentive, talented, and made sure every single request was met with care and a smile. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Highly recommended I can’t wait to come back!”

“Best for: Classy 5-star hotel restaurant Let’s start with the best part: This was the best uni (sea urchin) I have ever tasted. They claim to fly their fish in from Hokkaido—after tasting the uni, I believe them. Some of the maki appeared a little basic, but a few rolls were incredible. The one in my pictures with a long slab of orange crab spread on top was amazing. Service: Absolutely top-notch. I remember Peter, Mook, and Ging. I didn’t need to ask for anything—they were perfectly timed, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Vibe: The entrance to this hotel feels 7-star. Great for an impressive date. Connected to the Kimpton Hotel. The inside is Japanese 5-star chic.”

“I had such an amazing meal and dining experience at Shio, all the staff was absolutely phenomenal. Peter was amazing helping me navigate through the menu and picking the perfect sushi rolls. Chakris was an amazing bartender, and made sitting at the sushi bar a lovely experience. And I also got such great help from Ging, she was absolutely adorable and had the best time talking about different experiences and things to do on the island of Koh Samui! I will definitely be going back!”
