“Absolutely stellar experience at Shun Omakase in Bali. Pleasantly surprised that an omakase of this quality and standard could be found in Bali. Chef Mark has shown creativity that is rarely found these days, most evident in him making truffle ice cream on the spot for dessert. Fish used in the sashimi and sushi here were directly imported from Japan and subject to Chef Mark's aging techniques. Fish had an additional complexity in flavour. Nothing but praise for this. Highly recommended!”

“Dining at Shun Omakase honestly felt like more than just having dinner. It felt like experiencing a story through food. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm, intimate, and very welcoming. The staff made everything feel comfortable and personal, which immediately set the tone for the night. I had the 18 course omakase, and every course felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. What I loved most was how each dish had its own character, yet the whole experience still flowed perfectly from start to finish. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and every piece of sushi simply melted in my mouth. You could really tell the chef paid attention to every small detail, from the balance of flavors to the texture and presentation. Sitting at the counter and watching the chef prepare each course made the experience even more special. It felt very interactive and personal, especially when the chef explained the ingredients and inspiration behind certain dishes. It gave a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship and passion behind the food. By the end of the 18 courses, I was honestly amazed by how satisfying the experience was without feeling too heavy. Every course kept surprising me in a different way, and it never became repetitive. Shun Omakase is definitely one of those dining experiences that stays in your memory, not only because of the food, but because of the atmosphere, hospitality, and overall experience.”
