Sound Club Samui

“I visited Sound Club on January 17 at around 00:45, and it was one of the worst club experiences I’ve had in Koh Samui. At the entrance, security claimed they required passports or IDs for entry, but this rule was clearly applied selectively. Non-white guests were stopped and questioned, while white customers were allowed inside without showing anything. It felt discriminatory and uncomfortable. Things got worse when I took a simple photo of the front gate to send to my friend so they could pick me up outside. Security immediately approached me aggressively and demanded that I delete the photo. Their behavior was threatening and completely unprofessional. Inside the club, the staff and servers were uninterested in helping customers and showed no basic hospitality. Overall, the environment felt unwelcoming, rude, and unfair. I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting respectful treatment.”

“Absolutely electric night at Sound Club Samui hands down one of the best clubs on the Chaweng strip. The atmosphere is pure fire: those purple lights, massive sound system, and a DJ who properly knows how to keep the dancefloor packed till stupid o’clock. Drinks were spot on and decently priced (solid cocktails around 300 baht), service quick even when it was rammed. Didn’t bother with food, but who does at a place like this? If you want a proper night out on Samui, this is it. 5 stars, already planning the next one.”

“I was drugged here. Had vodka Red Bulls, I’m a heavy drinker and normally need 10+ drinks to feel anything. Couldn’t walk for 12+ hours after. This wasn’t alcohol. Watch your drinks carefully if you come here”
