“Visited Stay Gold in Chaloklum on Koh Phangan and really enjoyed the place. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, it is easy to drop by “for one drink” and end up spending the whole evening with friends. A big plus is the focus on plant-based cuisine and vegan Neapolitan-style pizza: the dough is light, the toppings are well thought out, everything tastes great and feels satisfying without being heavy afterwards. There are also other comfort-food style dishes that pair well with craft beer or cocktails. The staff are friendly and helpful, ready to recommend both food and drinks, so you quickly feel more like a regular than just another tourist. From time to time there are small music events and DJ sets, so it often turns into a cozy evening with good music rather than just a simple dinner. The location is convenient if you stay in or around Chaloklum: easy to find, with nearby parking, and comfortable for coming with a group. Overall, Stay Gold is a great spot if you are looking for a mix of good beer, tasty plant-based food, and a warm island vibe on Koh Phangan.”

“It's amazing to see another fully vegan spot. We had the Sunrise pizza, which was absolutely delicious; we are going to get another one this evening. And we got the canna brownie. We aren't smokers, so we had a quarter each, and it knocked our socks off. Go gentle with the brownie if you're not a smoker. It tasted insane as well.”

“Cozy place with friendly staff. The „Burger“ although wasn’t a real Burger for me. No top Bun and the tomatoes and other toppings that were supposed to be on the burger (at least it sounds like that in the description) were served as a side salad. Expected a burger and not a patty on a Toast for a price of 200 Bath! It still tasted very good but the staff seemed like they didn’t care if our food was okay.”
