“Soi 38 have the Best street food in Bangkok! Keep going there in every visit. Still open, not on the street anymore but under the building. Around 10 food stalls with delicious delicacies. One of the best Thai street food locations. Keep coming back year after year.”
“Enjoyed the Ice Kitchen's food. I had basil beef (120 baht) with an add on sunny side up egg (10 baht), with a side of long beans with pork (150 baht). The food was really delicious. Don't mistake Ice Kitchen for the next door stall; it is the one closest to the entrance on the right. Great taste and friendly owner. My partner had pork leg rice (60 baht) from the small stall on the left of the entrance which is second from the front, next to the dessert stall. That was also fantastic.”
“I lived in Bangkok 8 years ago and this place was much different back then, with stalls lining the streets on both sides. Now it’s just a small section of stalls, situated in a kind of dining hall area. The food is still wonderful and the mango sticky rice is still sitting in the same place, and it hasn’t lost its flavor over the years. The woman here is still super sweet and has a variety of different sizes to choose from. All reasonably priced. An absolute must stop when you’re in Bangkok.”
“Great spot for market food! We came after trying a bit of food from Artbox market and feeling dissatisfied (not fresh, seemed touristy) and were really happy with the food options here. It’s a small food court but there’s lots of variety - we ordered a + green papaya salad with noodles + Tom yum fried rice + coconut ice cream with toppings All fresh, delicious, and great value!”
“Small eatery serving traditional Thai street food at very affordable prices. We had the special roast pork and wanton noodles for I think 150 baht per bowl (can’t remember the price for sure). It was a very flavourful bowl of noodles with a lot different types of meat - there was roast fatty pork (烧肉), sweet roast pork (叉烧), minced chicken, boiled wanton and fried wanton. We also had roasted pork neck from a different stall but it was unimpressive and unmemorable (think it cost 200 baht for a small plate). The place also sold seafood, pork trotters and stir fried noodles but we didn’t get to try them. They also had desserts and mango sticky rice. Nice place to pop by for cheap and tasty Thai food - would pop by again for the noodles and to try the mango sticky rice. I wouldn’t recommend the grilled pork neck here.”
