“What an amazing tattoo studio. Por is the most welcoming and friendly manager there is. She really makes you at comfort and does everything with a smile! Me and my partner had a bamboo tattoo with the Ohm symbol. Jay and Cheng are quite the artists. Make beautiful designs of our wishes and there work is as fine as a machine. Cheng even did a cover up of an older tattoo to match the new one. So thankfull for that. We left the studio both with a big smile and a beautiful bamboo tattoo! “This place has been amazing from the very 1st contact all the way to getting the work finished. I initially reached out to the UK location via WhatsApp on accident when I tried to reach Koh Samui, Thailand. They redirected me to the correct location and Por took the initiative to reach out to me. The communication was thorough and consistent. We were able to lock in a design and a date and time. When I arrived at the shop, I was greeted by Por and the staff with smiles, then introduced to my artist Jay. Jay was quick and proficient. He constantly checked in on me during the work to ensure I was doing ok. Por was also very attentive and checked if I needed anything while I was there. After we finished, I was given time to ask any questions and I was given a bag with aftercare instructions and some aftercare balm. The art looks amazing!! I’m definitely in love with the work! “My wife had a cover up by Keng 5 years ago in Otley after missing him on Samui as he was in Otley at the time returning to Samui this year I wanted to get a traditional Sak Yant. After consultation with Keng and Lauren I decided on a design, what I like about The Bamboo rooms is that they will guide you as to the meaning and placement and these are not tourist tattoos. The tattoo took six hours and the detail is amazing and has more in it than anything else I'd seen, a credit to Keng and his abilities and speed. My wife also had a second lotus tattoo to compliment her cover up and this was carried out by Jay at the same time, somehow both tattos finished at exactly the same time even though Fi's started nearly 4 hours later! These guys know what they are doing, how long it will take and the detail and precision in everything they do is top notch, highly recommend if you want a modern bamboo tattoo or traditional Sak Yant. Update! Haven't had such a great experience with the first Sak Yant by Keng I returned and had 2 more. These have both healed really quickly and with no blistering and minimal after care I can't recommend Keng highly enough if you want a traditional bamboo tattoo or Sak Yant with someone who is extremely knowledgeable in the art.”

“Eight years ago, I walked into the studio in Fisherman Village and knew I wanted to get a tattoo there. Unfortunately, they were fully booked at the time. Now I've finally made it, come back to Koh Samui and was able to get it done. I received support via video call from Arjan Keng and via WhatsApp from Por.
