The moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautifully serene atmosphere. Unlike the usual bustling lunch-rush spots, this place offered a wonderfully calm, gentle vibe that instantly made me relax. ​They were playing soft, soothing background music that perfectly complemented the minimal, cozy aesthetic. It really set the tone for a peaceful meal. As for the food, the signature tonkotsu ramen was outstanding—the broth was rich, creamy, and packed with authentic flavor, while the noodles had the perfect bite. The staff were also incredibly polite and attentive without being intrusive. ​If you are looking for top-tier ramen served with a side of absolute tranquility, Tonkotsu Ichibanke is highly recommended. “Been craving Japanese food as it's been a few months since I've had any. Decided to drop into japantown in d1 and stumbled on this joint. Reminds me of Japan. Got the Garlic broth set with the raw egg rice bowl. Ramen came out hot, the noodles were fresh and had a slight bite to it, which is a preference of mine and the rice bowl on top with the eggs, onions , nori and some meat was icing on top for this thick boy”
