“We had one of the worst dining experiences at Villa restaurant in Bangkok. We booked a table through the Eatigo app and arrived 15 minutes early. After informing the manager about our reservation, everything seemed fine—until we mentioned that we got a flat 50% discount through the app. That’s when things went south. The manager suddenly got furious and said the booking couldn’t be honored because the owner wasn’t answering his call. It felt like an excuse to avoid giving the discount. We had traveled 8 km just to dine here, only to be turned away in such an unprofessional and rude manner. Despite the poor treatment, we decided to dine without the offer—but the service was extremely slow and inattentive, and the food was below average at best. If you’re traveling in Bangkok, I would strongly advise avoiding places like this where the staff refuses to honor valid reservations and discounts. The entire experience felt like a scam, and it left a very bad impression.”
