“This was my first visit to Vinmec Smart City, and while I expected the same high standards as Vinmec Times City, the service here actually exceeded my expectations. ​I was admitted for two days and placed under the care of Nurse Ha Minh Thu on the 8th floor. Having lived in eight different countries, I can honestly say she is the best nurse I have ever encountered. In an environment where I had previously mostly seen serious faces, Nurse Thu was a breath of fresh air, caring, attentive, cordial, and incredibly reassuring. ​She played a pivotal role in my recovery by giving me the confidence to overcome my physical limitations. Beyond her exceptional bedside manner, her English is 110% fluent, making communication seamless. While I hope no one needs a hospital stay, if you do find yourself at Vinmec, I truly hope you are lucky enough to be cared for by Nurse Thu.”

“I had surgery at Vinmec Smart City International Hospital to remove hardware from my elbow after a previous fracture. Overall, my experience was very positive. The hospital was clean, modern, and well organized. The process was smooth from the first consultation to the surgery and discharge. The doctor explained the treatment plan clearly, answered my questions, and made me feel confident before the procedure. The anesthesia team was also very professional and attentive. They explained the anesthesia plan in detail and monitored me carefully during the surgery. After the operation, the nurses took good care of me, regularly checked my condition, helped with pain control, wound care, and recovery exercises. The room was comfortable, almost like a hotel room, which made the stay much easier. I also appreciated the support from the medical coordinator and interpreter, which made communication very convenient as a foreign patient. I want to thank the surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and the whole hospital team for their professionalism, care, and support. I felt safe and well looked after during my stay. I would recommend Vinmec Smart City International Hospital to international patients who are looking for professional medical care in Vietnam.”

“This is a Tourist/Expat friendly hospital that feels like a luxury hotel. I got a full medical checkup (10+ scans/tests/consultations), minor surgery, plus DNA testing all done in a single afternoon. An english interpreter is also provided. Insurance is also accepted. Check out their website for the full medical packages. I did a full body checkup and maybe 10+ tests/scans and even a minor surgery in the span of a few hours. The full body checkup/scans costs 8-9m vnd. These same tests would've cost at least 10x the price in the US or would have taken at least 6 months to schedule in Canada. After each test, I was basically ushered to the next test or doctor who would explain the results so there was practically no wait. Based on the results, the doctor will provide options to you on whether you want further optional tests or same day treatments done and the price to do them. I just did everything while I was there because the facilities/equipment looked so new, clean and well staffed. The best part of this is that I was assigned an english speaking interpreter Tien (included as part of the package) who held my hand through the entire process. She was my tour guide that directed me to where I was supposed to be between doctors while translating the results or amy questions I had. Most of the doctors do speak english, but having an interpreter to followup on more complex questions is pretty important to the experience. The value add on having someone stick by you as you go through the entire process is pretty invaluable especially when youre going in by yourself to do various invasive screenings. She will also facilitate emailing you the results in english after each test and helped me understand the billing. Tien was amazing, and I'm still impressed I was able to do so many tests within one afternoon. The rest of the other doctors and nurses I met were also very empathetic and great to work with as well. Im used to rushed walk-in clinics in Canada where its pretty obvious theyre trying to get you out as soon as possible but every doctor I met at vinmec took the time to answer all my questions until I was comfortable. The doctor from hematology even sat down and drew a diagram explaining one of my results lol”
