“My husband and I were involved in a very serious traffic accident with multiple injuries, and I spent the first two weeks in the intensive care unit.During one of the hardest times of my life, I experienced an incredible level of care, kindness, and humanity in this hospital that I will never forget. The nurses and staff in the ICU were unbelievably kind, caring, and helpful. Whenever I needed anything, someone came within seconds. They washed and cared for me from head to toe every day, and they even braided my hair for me. Despite my condition, I was always treated with dignity and compassion. The doctors checked on me daily and carefully monitored everything. Because my condition was very critical and my husband was extremely worried, Dr. Dear constantly updated him about my condition and always took the time to explain everything. When I was transferred to the regular ward, I had the exact same positive experience. The nurses were incredibly attentive, loving, and always there whenever I needed help. Especially during situations that felt uncomfortable or embarrassing to me, such as being washed or having my diaper changed, they never made me feel ashamed. Instead, they always reassured me that it was completely normal and part of their job. After several weeks in the hospital, I began struggling mentally and went through depressive phases. Whenever the nurses noticed me crying, some of them would sit with me for up to 30 minutes just to comfort me and cheer me up. That kind of compassion means more to me than words can describe. The wound care team was also amazing. The man who cleaned my wounds every day was incredibly kind and made me feel completely comfortable. The nurses from the wound care department were equally gentle, professional, and caring. One moment I will never forget was my birthday during my stay in the ICU. I was heartbroken that I had to spend it in a hospital bed, but Dr. Joy, the gynecologist, and the nurses still managed to make it a beautiful day for me. They brought me a cake and even a gift. I will always be grateful for that kindness. There was also another doctor — unfortunately I cannot remember his name — who showed exceptional kindness. I had asked him why I had a heavy coating on my tongue even though I do not smoke and had barely eaten. He explained everything to me very patiently. I told him it would be enough if he simply told my husband where to buy the proper products. But the next morning, during his rounds, he personally brought me a mouthwash and a tongue scraper. I will never forget such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were also excellent: very large, modern, and always clean. A cleaning service came every day. We had our own bathroom, a kitchen, TV, WiFi, and even a couch so my husband could stay and sleep beside me. The view was beautiful as well. I would never wish a hospital stay on anyone. But if someone ever needs medical care, I truly hope they receive the same level of treatment and compassion that I received here. Thank you to the entire staff — doctors, nurses, cleaning staff, and everyone involved. You have my deepest respect. Despite all the pain and injuries, you made my stay as comfortable and positive as possible.Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
“The doctors and staff are great, but the prices for medications are three times higher than at the nearby pharmacy. I don't think it should be that way. There are a lot of staff at the reception desk in the hospital, but it’s not clear why so many are needed. Another downside is that they speak English very poorly, which is surprising for an international hospital. Even if you have an appointment scheduled for a specific time, there’s no need to rush. Doctors consistently run behind schedule, and waiting at least 30-45 minutes past your appointment time seems to be the norm. The hospital clearly lacks a dedicated manager who could help improve communication with international patients and ensure that doctors adhere more closely to their scheduled appointment times.”
“I gave birth to my baby girl here 🥰 The hospital is wonderful, with caring staff, professional doctors, and excellent service. A special thank you to the entire team who was by our side during one of the most important moments of our lives. Your kindness, attention, and dedication meant so much to our family🙏 We are truly grateful and would highly recommend this hospital!”
“I came to Wattanapat Hospital for prenatal care during my first and second trimesters, for both of my pregnancies, and each time I received such great care! From the moment I arrived at the hospital for my appointments all the way to the end, everything was always so seamless. You definitely get what you pay for - high quality private care that gives you peace of mind. Though I did not specifically give birth here as I went back to my home country, I highly recommend pregnant women coming here for prenatal care!😊”
“This review is based purely on the organisation and administration of the hospital, not the medical staff. I gave birth here and had been a registered patient for quite some time. I attended regular appointments with my doctor, had a birth plan in place, my insurance was approved, and all paperwork had already been completed. Despite all of this, when I arrived in labour and was literally being wheeled through reception to give birth, the staff stopped us and insisted that we make payment immediately. At that moment I was about to push and deliver my daughter, yet they were demanding payment before the birth had even happened. They could not even know at that stage what type of birth it would be or what the final cost would be. We were also staying in the hospital for two nights afterwards, and of course we had passports, credit cards and everything needed to settle the bill. The timing and lack of judgement in that situation was incredibly stressful and unnecessary. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. Every single time we visit this hospital there seems to be confusion at the entrance, even though we are already registered patients and all of our information has been on file for years. We are repeatedly asked for passport copies, there is constant confusion about insurance, and it often causes delays that make us late for our appointments. Even after the appointment, the same pattern continues. When waiting for medication there are often further delays because paperwork has not been sent to the pharmacy or insurance details are questioned again. The medical staff themselves have been good, but the level of disorganisation among the administrative staff is extremely frustrating. When you or your child are unwell, the last thing you want to deal with is repeated confusion and delays over paperwork that the hospital already has on file. It really takes away from what could otherwise be a very good hospital experience.”
