“I must say, my trip to Hainan was not satisfying at all. I will detail it as below: 1. The Cambodian guide was nice and took very good care of the customers. However, he wasn't knowledgeable and mostly acted just as a translator for the local guide (Chinese). 2. The local guide (Chinese) was professional, but he would be better suited working as a salesman. His skill lies in selling customers on different places. He directed customers to 4 different places during my 4-night, 5-day tour, which really wasted my time. I had to cancel some of the programs to do other things. 3. The accommodation on the first night at Ocean Flowers Island was good, but the room was poor (especially in terms of cleanliness). The island is very quiet during the low season. 4. However, the last 3 nights at the Summer Hotel in Sanya were very good. The room, facilities, and breakfast were 5-star quality. 5. Since I shared a room with the guide, it was uncomfortable. It was hard to find myself relaxed, reading, or sleeping. His snoring woke me up in the middle of the night, and I didn't get a good night's sleep. 6. The food they served was generally good, but the hygiene at some restaurants was very bad. The last dinner was particularly terrible. 7. Sanya is beautiful, but it seems to cater only to Chinese guests. Most of the language is written in Chinese, and it would be hard to translate since Google Translate is prohibited. 8. I found the Chinese to be unfriendly and rude, especially in restaurants. The way they served the food was improper and in very bad manners. After we finished our meal, they started to sell their products, which was very off-putting. I would not go there again, and I would not recommend you to go there either.”

“Went on a trip to Korea with them, they brought us to a bunch of tourist traps that keep u spending money for a long time, even if u aren’t spending.. the others are spending so expect to be in a room for 3 hours with a bunch of ginseng. It’s so unsatisfying too.. the trip doesn’t highlight the amazing cafe culture and shopping but shows u a bunch of mundane bland areas that has nothing to do.”

“So I took a tour with world pop to china recently. It was wonderful. Great food selection and our tour guides ( both Chinese and Cambodian ) were delightful. The way they arranged schedules are somewhat spread out on the first and last day to help with jet lag. Plus our guides were very considerate to the elderly people on tour. They constantly did head count to make sure that no one got left behind at the mostly busy site. And yet they still try to help me as a 20ish year old with luggage and stuff. It was nice. I went on several tour and I think world pop is the best among them. Totally recommended. ✌🏻💕”

“I went on a family trip to MYSG with this tour company during Pchum Ben last year and everything went well. So for this upcoming KNY, I have reached out to two of their salesman on Telegram (that I previously connected with) to find out more information so I can decide on where to go. The first one responded late and didn’t seem to listen to my inquiries properly so she didn’t answer properly, while the second one straight up refused to send me detailed leaflet of the tours to Vietnam and Bali. As a buyer, before I make a decision, I like to read through the daily detail activities of each tour before I confirm. However, he refused to share me citing that it is better that I told him first where exactly in VN that I want to go so that he can send me the details and explain to me better. He said he feared that otherwise, I might not purchase the tour from him…which to me doesn’t make any sense at all. I am sorely disappointed with World Pop’s customer service. As the leading tour agency in the country, I expected more. Safe to say, I won’t be returning and will be bringing my business somewhere else.”
