“Friday and Saturday evening market by the Mae khong. Few tables and seats. Cheap local prices, everything mostly 10 or 20 baht. Huge variety. Great casual evening eating. Spectacular views across to Laos. Live music as well, if you like loud thai pop. Highly recommended.”
“This was a little different to most Saturday night markets, it was a lot calmer and more relaxed, they’re not pushy at the stalls so you can wander through without being hounded which was nice. It was busy but didn’t have a party atmosphere, although we left at about 9/9.30pm so maybe it does a bit later. It’s huge too so have your walking shoes on, alcohol is only served and consumed in designated areas. Lovely array of crafts, clothes, Jewlery, food and drinks, recommend.”
“Lots off stuff on offer here at this walking street night market. It gets pretty crowded quickly. There's tons of trinkets, clothing, snacks, beverages, street food, you name it to enjoy. There's also a few food areas that serve beer and cocktails. Some of them had live music going. Whatever you're into I'm sure you will find something you'll like here.”
“Muay Thai boxing stadium is there also up the stairs and you have to walk through a small food court to find that stadium in the background with music playing to guide your way. Yes this street has many vendors that sell shirts, girl clothes anything that you want. Especially for tourists needs like luggage or bags, leather bags, shoes backpacks hats clothing hoodies headphones cowboy hats and flip flops. Did I miss anything ? Obviously one of the largest food courts is Asuwan market maybe I spelled that wrong but you get the point. Barbecue sandwiches beef hamburger Thai food and fish. Just when you think you have seen it all before your eyes there’s stores mixed in there too. Hard Rock restaurant is one of my favorites there is also the best and biggest McDonalds restaurant in Thailand for those cheap prices on your favorite foods. Did I mention beer oh yeah it’s here too Irish bar is your best option for lasagna and blue berry pie, try your luck with that strange bar with girls waiting for your arrival they will love to give you the best time of your life, it’s up to you to make it happen. Massage is everywhere but do your best to find a professional massage therapist in a uniform not tight booty pants unless you want to have a smile on your face with a happy ending massage girl.”
“Great food and a good place for some cheap souvenirs. I have no idea what they are called but the first two pics are of some sort of egg dumpling filled with coconut milk and either sweet potato, green onion or corn. The other pic is crispy pork belly. Both were so good and the "dumplings" were sweet from the coconut milk”
