“We had the most amazing day with Mandy. From the initial booking to the moment our tour ended was first class all the way. We made so many memories all thanks to Mandy. Our tour was amazingly planned by Mandy, from the pick up at our hotel to visiting all the best locations we could not have asked for more. With mandy you will experience a wonderful touring day. Our touring day with mandy has been the highlight of our holiday. YOU SHOULD ONLY BOOK WITH MANDY TO TOUR BANGKOK!!! she is the best guide!!!”
“Myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed the Ayutthaya tour with guide Emma! The booking process with Mandy was very easy and we were given loads of information about the day and other Bangkok essentials. Emma was very prompt with the pick up from our hotel and we were introduced to the driver Mr Anon. The mini bus was extremely clean and comfortable and we were provided with cold water the whole day. Emma started with giving us some information about Bangkok and Thailand in general at the beginning of the trip. The drive to Ayutthaya took about 90min and we were given some more information just before we arrived. When we arrived, Emma was very informative and helpful and she showed us around 4 of the main temples, including helping us get a blessing from one of the monks in the temple. We were given cold towels after each stop and also were shown the best place to buy some delicious treats and ice cream half way through the morning. We were given every opportunity to use toilets which was great as we were travelling with a 2 and 4 year old. Emma had water and umbrellas for us which was a great touch. She also took the best photos for us so we have amazing memories of our day 🤗 The highlight was the amazing lunch and Emma had organised a Birthday cake for my Mum which was such a lovely treat! The van was cleaned for every time we got in and we were able to have a little nap on the way home. Thank you so much to Emma, Mr Anon (and Mandy) for an unforgettable day! We will be back!”
“From the first contact we had with Mandy and Emma we felt confidence. We passed on what we would like to achieve and see in Bangkok and they, with their wealth of knowledge helped us to work out a tour that would be suitable for 2 adults and our 13 yr old daughter. We were contacted the day before to check we were all ok for the tour to go ahead and that the times were still appropriate. Our tour started at 7am, which was perfect in order to start the temple tours before the heat of the day. It was also an awful lot quieter. We found the whole process straight forward and easy. Payment was a deposit and then the rest of the payment on the day cash. Our tour guide was Emma who was so easy to chat to and ask questions to. Her knowledge was totally amazing and she helped us to understand and appreciate all of the cultural variations within Thailand. She didn't rush us, however we did keep to our timetable and moved on from our temples in good timescales. Emma had a driver and this was so important for the day as we did walk an awful lot and him collecting us at certain points was integral to the day. We were offered bottled water constantly throughout the day, along with fresh fruit and cold towels. This was such an important part of the day with the rapidly increasing temperature. By 10am on our tour day the temperature was 34 degrees. Our tour included, The Grand Palace, The Emerald Buddha Temple, The Reclining Buddha 'Wat Pho', The Temple of Dawn 'Wat Arun', Long Tailed Boat canal tour, Golden Mountain Temple 'Wat Saket'. All of the entrance fees were included in our tour guide fee. We also had lunch at an authentic Thai which we paid additional for, this was minimal though! This was a nice time to sit and talk about Thai and English foods. Emma loved the sound of a Victoria sandwich sponge cake. We were very interested in how she was explaining people in Bangkok live and how they mostly eat street food or food out in restaurants. The information we learned on this tour gave us a good amount of confidence for our trip in Thailand. Emma was such a grateful help and extremely important part of our holiday. We would not have seen or understood the sites we did without her and her planning. We would most definitely use BangkokSmileGuide again for a return to Bangkok. Thank you Emma, you were a wonderful source of information.”
“My family and I have not long returned from our holiday to Thailand. One of the biggest highlights of our trip was being met on our first day by Emma from Bangkok Guide Smile. She and her driver took us to a lot of sites around Bangkok. We visited the Grand Palace, three stunning temples, went on a long tail boat ride and had lunch in an authentic Thai restaurant. Emma and our driver were extremely organised. After every stop we were met back at our minivan with a fresh bottle of cold water and a face and hand wipe, both of which were greatly appreciated in such hot weather. Emma was absolutely superb with her knowledge of the locations we went to, her English was fantastic and she just made it all such fun for us, she got out holiday off to a fantastic start and I would not hesitate to book her again and recommend her to anyone and everyone wanting a professional tour of Bangkok.”
“We did the Essential Bangkok tour with Mandy back in January (sorry for the delay in writing this Mandy!) we started that day early with Mandy waiting to greet us in the hotel lobby and the driver ,Mr. Anon, waiting right outside the front door. Mandy had a scrapbook of everything that you could want to know about Bangkok and Thai culture that she walked us through in a very engaging manner during our ride to our first stop. At our first stop, Wat Po (reclining Buddha), Mandy was able to get us in an hour before the temple opened. It was a surreal experience as we had the entire grounds to ourselves. We sat down in the temple as Mandy taught us more about Thai culture and the history of the temple. We were able to see the whole place before the crowds rolled in. At each temple we visited Mandy had somebody there that handed us tickets to avoid waiting in long queues, and we were able to walk right in the entrances. It seemed all the workers there were friends of hers. I could type a book about how great our tour was, it was the best, most efficient tour I have ever been on. Before we exited each temple Mandy had coordinated with the driver, who was always waiting right outside the exit with cold towels and water bottles. She knows all the best photo spots ( I have an endless amount of awesome photos in my camera now). The boat tour was a thrill, and the lunch she took us to was hands down the best food we had during our stay in Thailand. I cannot recommend Mandy enough to anyone looking for a guided tour around Bangkok. You get to see everything in one day, that I personally feel would take up 2 full days if you tried to do it yourself. We will definitely be seeing Mandy again in the future!”
