“I have been visiting New York Hair Studio since I lived in Chiang Mai in 2023, and I highly recommend it. I have very light blonde hair, and Gam gives the best blowout and styling I have ever had. She is incredibly talented. Sunny also does amazing color work, especially for specialized blonde hair services. This is definitely the best hair salon in Chiang Mai, especially if you need something specific or high-maintenance done correctly. Every service also comes with a hand and shoulder massage. Even when you wash your hair, the chairs fully recline flat, which is extremely comfortable. All of the staff are kind, caring, and always happy to help with anything you need. I always feel very comfortable and at home when I visit.”

“Wow, I’m so happy I walked out of this salon today. My hair had been completely ruined at a salon in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It had turned into all sorts of strange shades, while I’m normally a nice, clean blonde. The team here managed to fix it exactly the way I hoped. Before we started, they were very honest and explained that they couldn’t guarantee 100% what the result would be at first, because correcting hair like mine can be unpredictable. But the end result turned out absolutely perfect. I did find it a bit on the expensive side, but considering the final result, it was completely worth it. “I truly don’t know if I just had a rare, off experience here or what. The reviews really convinced me I was in good hands. Made an appointment same day for a trim and also a touch up on existing layers. I don’t care about a massage or a good wash, I want a good cut. I received a blow out and it seemed alright. Once my hair air dried, my God it looks atrocious. The layers are not blended whatsoever and create a shelf that makes it appear as though I have a bob with a mullet underneath, since he thinned out the bottom so much. Please be weary of coming here if you have textured hair. Getting my hair fixed asap to better blend it and salvage what I can. I had long, thick, beautiful hair that was absolutely botched.”
