After Hours Gelato (ORTO West Coast)

“Came for an after dinner dessert snack. Waffles were great! Had two types: the mochi and churros mochi waffles.. both were really good. Especially loved the cinnamon and sugar on the churros mochi waffle. Ice cream flavours were just ok. Had the osmanthus oolong, strawberry, honeycomb and one other flavour. Nothing special.”

“Was craving something sweet late at night and ended up here for supper with a friend. The gelato was a little too sweet for my liking, but still enjoyable overall. We ordered the mochi waffle with two scoops of gelato — the waffle was perfectly golden brown, crispy on the outside, and soft, chewy, and gooey on the inside (so good). 🤤 We also tried their iced chocolate and iced matcha latte. Unfortunately, the matcha didn’t meet my standards, so I wouldn’t recommend it, but the iced chocolate was decent. This dessert spot gets really crowded at night, so be prepared to wait a while for your order and a seat!💕💕”

“Located in Orto next to the bar and this is a good spot for your late night desserts. Parking space is quite large and it is pretty quiet at night. I tried the mochi croffle for the first time and I have to say I loved it!”

“If you are looking for a dessert shop near the area, this is a good place to go! Ordered the mochi waffle with ice cream (Honeycomb, dubai chocolate) Its mochi texture is really nice. However, I wished the ice cream could have been slightly better, the dubai chocolate had little to no trace of pistachio. Overall, cozy environment to share a dessert with a loved one:)”

“Disappointing experience overall after wanting to try this place out for a while. The staff at the counter were very passive and even though we waited patiently for the staff to be done with customers ahead, they didn’t even bother acknowledging us until I had to actually approach them first. Then when I asked if I could sample 4 different flavours (sharing among friends and we were the only ones in the queue at this time so we were not being obnoxious ok), the staff reacted in a way that felt uncalled for. “Um..that’s a lot but okay..” ??? Anyway, the ice creams were the main cause of the disappointment. Flavours were not as strong as they could be and quite flat overall. The churro mochi waffle was ok, not bad not great. I guess it’s an acceptable place for a late night ice-cream and waffle craving and that’s about it.”
