“Nice ambient setting, friendly staff and cocktails that I could tell were crafted with detail and thought. They also brought my partner out a cake with candle for his bday which was nice. Thanks for having us and making the night special. (Cocktails average about $13 AUD each which is on par with other bars and restaurants in Bali but I would say these were better)”

“Simply amazing & unexpected! My wife & I are absolute fans of mixology and love trying new places & drinks, therefore we gave District 1 a shot after seeing the reviews & pictures here and have to say: we were not disappointed! If you are (like us) just looking for the drinks and skip the food, the entrance is in a "kind of shady" side alley from the main street. Just follow the red lights ;-) (you can also enter through the restaurant) The venue itself is really comfortable and nice/ classy, music is very fitting and relaxing (like lounge, jazzy stuff, including covers of popsongs). Staff is amazing - like, not only friendly and helpful, but really nice & chatty, felt directly welcomed and home. Last, but definitely not least: the drinks. Don't need to talk about the selection of spirits, the picture speaks for itself. What I love and is a sign for a really GREAT place for me is, that you can tell them in what "mood for a drink" you are today, and you get either something from the card or something they create/ that is not officially on the menu. That is what makes a Barkeeper an artist. Regarding prices: Drinks are between 135 & 185k++, so from my pov very reasonable for what you get. 10/5 stars if possible, we will definitely come back!”
