“Food was OK! Looks like a lot of people come here to work. Staff was very attentive and kept on refilling my glass of water. Also, mushroom pesto??? FANTASTIC IDEA how come I have never thought of that? The sourdough was nice too but I hope they can make other varieties of butter. Their sausage was good too. I prefer back bacon over streak bacon. Hash brown seems to be made with flour. They accept card payments and you pay by going to the counter. There are also a bunch of thinhs for sale inside.”
“I found this café recommended in various places online. I’d been wanting to check it out for a while, so I decided to pay it a visit. The coffee was delicious, and the hotcakes I ordered were also delicious. My food and coffee were served fairly quickly after I placed my order. The staff were friendly, and it was a very cozy café.”
“Very outdoorsy vibe. It’s a comfy location with indoor seating as well as outside. The interior seating features plants all around the room. Food absolutely spot on. Had the eggs and bacon with sourdough. Also the breakfast burrito on another occasion. That hot sauce was my favorite. Would continue to visit if time allows. Try it, enjoy the kitchen brigade cook in the background. Love the service.”
“Mixed experience overall. Because there was no space left inside, I chose to sit outside in a corner—and was apparently completely forgotten. I eventually had to knock on the window just to get the staff’s attention, which was pretty frustrating and shouldn’t really happen. The ironic part is that the interior is actually nicely designed. But step outside and the place suddenly looks quite run-down in comparison. The outdoor area feels neglected and really doesn’t match the otherwise decent interior. If guests are seated outside, the space should at least feel inviting and properly maintained. To make matters worse, the tables clearly aren’t cleaned properly. I first had to brush a large pile of crumbs off the table myself before I could even sit down comfortably. That doesn’t give a very hygienic impression and adds to the feeling that the outside area isn’t being taken care of properly. On top of that, I eventually had to move inside anyway because I was being attacked by mosquitoes outside. On the positive side, the freshly pressed juice was probably the best I’ve had in Phnom Penh. I had the avocado feta toast, which was very tasty and came with perfectly poached eggs. On the downside, the milk options are extremely limited—only regular and cashew milk—which feels pretty weak. Oat milk really should be standard everywhere. Or almond or soy, whatever. The service was rather reserved—not unfriendly, but definitely distant, which adds to the mixed impression of the place.”
