“We went around 7pm for dinner. The food was all good and delicious yet can be on the pricier side (refer below for Apr 2026 prices). I only ordered/tasted the Springtime Chicken, so it’ll be the only one in this food review. The chicken was chewy and juicy and I love it. [a friend of mine found it rubbery but let’s ignore him] I love how it was marinated and the sweet taste definitely oozes out. The salad on the side had a peanut dressing and also tasted good. It was noted to be spicy but the only spice was the chili tops that can be requested to be removed. However, ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because of the service. It was slow and took a couple of calls before we were catered — both in ordering and billing out. It definitely annoyed us because it wasn’t a full house so we felt ignored. The serving time was fast though, but inconsistent. For the atmosphere, it can have a moderate noise. Honestly, we didn’t mind this because we were also a bit noisy with laughing and talking around. Overall, the food was superb but hope they could improve on the service… since they are in the pricier side. “Pricey and leaning upscale, but the almost-torn menu clashes with the polished image the restaurant is trying to project. I ordered the Bistro Burger, while Mom had the chicken chopped salad. The burger was smaller than expected, though it was served hot. I ordered it medium, but it seemed undercooked for my liking, and I only finished half. The salad was good, though Mom also left some behind. Nice restaurant, lot's of food itermd & coffee & drinks & cakes”

“Tried H Proper Coffee Roasters and it did not disappoint ☕️ Food and coffee were both good. Their flat white packs a strong, bold kick just how I prefer it. The ambiance is also a win, cozy and easy to settle into whether you’re catching up or just enjoying a quiet cup. Service was great too. Miko was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was smooth from start to finish. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and one I’ll be coming back to for sure.”

“Restau + cafe + roastery + pastries = ticks off all the boxes for what makes a good all-day dining experience. It’s our second time here and cannot complain with anything! FOOD had playful profiles but nothing too extravagant. Familiar and sophisticated without being too uppity. If you like ragu, they have a beefy and very tomatoey one. Yum! Ah, good to order their porkchop, too — smokey and tender. We asked for an added serving of potatoes with it. Sandwich was meaty, good mix of moist and crunchy (with their crips sourdough bread) without the overpowering sauce (egg was moist enough). COFFEE of course, done well. I’m not much of a coffee ‘connoisseur’, but coffee is good! Best paired with their pastries. I suggest you order the classic than the Signatures first if you’re having sweet pastries. Pairs well. PASTRIES oh wow. The best scones I’ve had. Still a bit moist, milky. Cakes, we had the Dulce, also good!! And their brownie, chunky and chocolatey (locally sourced ingredients). Glad to know a non-Manila based restau+cafe (with a roastery even!) has a space in the food scene here in Manila. ❤️”

“The place was really nice. They also had really nice staff and service was okay until they did mess up with one drink. I’ll go into detail about that in a bit. The food was amazing especially for how they portioned it out so you really get a bang for your buck. It does lean on the pricier side. Their coffee was also quite nice. I love their specialty ones. Regarding the service issue, when all our orders arrived so most of us started eating. But I was missing my drink. It was the Tiramisu Cream. We had to follow up twice because I was already halfway through my food. The issue was a miscommunication from the server and baristas so they ended up giving the coffee on the house. While I appreciate their gesture, I did observe that they were struggling with serving things at the same time to other customers because my table noticed how the other one also had an issue with a missing order. I hope they improve on this!”
