Manam at the Triangle

“Manam at Ayala Triangle. We were hosting a Valentines dinner for a visiting French family with two kids. GOOD: We chose Manan at the Triangle for their outdoor seating fronting the park for children to have a place to play while we were having dinner. Manam has ambiance, excellent service, and consistently delivers on standard flavor (sisig, tokwa't baboy, fresh lumpia, pakbet) BUT barely exceeding for a wow factor. Their menu is extensive catering to the basics of Filipino cuisine whilst offering twists to the classics. One of their main courses was the interestingly delicious beef ribs sinigang with watermelon...the only exception. We also ordered the crispy palabok partly for the theatrics of pouring the sauce on the crispy noodles. Our guests were amoused. However the sauce overpowered the dish and made it a little soggy. Could be improved: The carafes with cold drinking water were leaking so much water that our tables and eventually our pants were constantly wet! We had to continuously ask for paper napkins to wipe off the puddles on the table. This took some of the enjoyment from our dinner.”

“Ate here twice in a 6 day trip to the Philippines because it was so good! Much recommended if you wanna try delicious local food in a nice restaurant thats fairly priced for what you get. Me and my friends ordered so much, it was pretty much all good up to the dessert. We even took turns guessing the bill, and guess what? It turned out cheaper than what we all thought! Props to you guys! Most memorable meal in the Philippines!!”

“We visited Manam at the Triangle hoping to try some of their signature pre-order dishes, but since those are meant for larger groups, we opted for a few other items instead: Sinigang na Beef Short Rib & Watermelon, Gising Gising, Oxtail Kare Kare, and Inihaw na Pusit. • The sinigang had a bold, sour flavor—refreshing for me, though my wife found it a bit too sour for her taste. • The gising gising came with a delicious, savory sauce that paired beautifully with rice. • The inihaw na pusit (grilled squid) was perfectly cooked, tender, and became my wife’s favorite dish of the night. • The oxtail kare kare was decent, though not as memorable compared to the other dishes.”

“I went solo for early lunch and had a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and I truly enjoyed the visit. The hostess was welcoming from the start. My server, Renelyn, was exceptionally attentive; she explained the drinks, food, and desserts in detail, which helped me make great choices. Renelyn’s recommendation of the sinigang na beef short ribs, calamandan smoothie was perfect, and rum bibingkang for dessert was a highlight of the meal. Thank you for making our evening special and memorable.”

Everything hits familiar notes: rich, savory, and satisfying without trying too hard. The standout advantage is their portion sizing, having small, medium, and large options makes it easy to sample multiple dishes without overcommitting. The space is wide and well-managed, with enough staff to keep things moving efficiently. Service is attentive without being intrusive. My phone was dead when we arrived and they let me charge it. Small gesture, but it sticks.”
