“Visited Hanoi during Tet, and even though many shops and restaurants were closed, the Hanoi Night Market was buzzing with life. The streets were packed with people and lined with vendors selling everything—from street food and clothes to candies, Chinese New Year lucky items, flowers, plants, and fresh fruits. The Old Quarter felt incredibly alive and festive, with the crowd taking over most of the streets and only a few cars able to pass through. It made the whole experience feel even more vibrant and exciting. It was such a fun experience overall—especially if you love shopping, exploring, and trying different food and drinks. Definitely a must-visit when in Hanoi!”

“The market is located from Hang Da Street to Dong Xuan Street. Tbh at 6 pm they were still getting ready, so maybe you better come here around 7/8pm. The market is mostly clothes, socks, and shoes. You don’t really find many food stalls here. The price was relatively affordable, depends on the seller. My two cents would be don’t get rushed to buy things, bcs some sellers sold it with lower price 🥲 also, you cannot bargain here.”

“Hanoi Night Market is open every Friday to Sunday, except on memorial days. To avoid missing it, I recommend asking locals for the schedule. Some roads are closed to vehicles during the market hours. Like other night markets, there are many stalls selling food, souvenirs, local crafts, clothes, and more. It’s a fun experience but be careful with your things.”

“Innumerable stalls, plenty of stuff to buy - anything and everything you can think of. Less on good options, a few grill meal stalls were good, the best was the mango sticky rice - went back again for another one. The prices here are one of the most affordable I have seen in the city.”

“Put your bargaining skills to the test! Lots of souvenir items, gifts and presents to get here. Also, there’s a whole lot of food options! Bring cash here as most do not have options for cc payments. Lastly, do not forget to enjoy!”
