“This tour was the highlight of our 5-day trip at Ubud, Bali. Our driver and tour guide, Gus Kumara, was a really great guide who kept us engaged not only at the sites but during the long drives from place to place. He was very friendly, really knowledgeable about the temples and locales, and patiently waited for us to explore around and take our time, even when we ended the tour later than the stipulated time. He shared with us a lot about Balinese culture, family life, Balinese new year and special days, and even about stories he's heard about the occult and much more! He's also a great photographer who helped us take plenty of pictures during the tour. Highly recommend this tour for first-time visitors to Bali, as the rice terrace we visited was under UNESCO (so it was less tourist-y and more authentic) and they have the option to purchase all the tickets and provide authentic Indonesian cuisine for lunch, and the cost for the full package was very reasonable for each pax. “Aron was a wonderful tour guide. He adapted the tour to what we had already seen and took us to places we had yet to still see. The morning started off with a little light rain and Aron was prepared with umbrellas for all of us. He did everything at our pace, whether we wanted to stay a little longer or continue on. “We had a full day Ubud tour with our amazing guide Dekwi. Dekwi was so very polite, respectful and knowledgeable. He picked us up on time from our hotel and spent the whole day showing us around the magical Ubud. Dekwi is a fountain of knowledge and answered all our questions and made our trip truly unforgettable and unique. He was mindful and always asked what our preference was. He customised the trip to our preferences on the go. He showed us all the best spots to get the best pictures and videos (which my wife greatly appreciated!) and even helped us by taking pictures and videos that were so fun! Bali is such a diverse and deeply cultural island and Dekwi opened our eyes to the lesser known parts of it. Taking us to breathtaking waterfalls (Indonesian lunch included), the famous Bali swing, the enchanting rice terrace and to finish it off one the most ethereal temples I have ever been to. “Such a cool experience! Each waterfall we visited was so beautiful & different. Lots of options to get food, snacks, small stores/souvenirs along the way. Desna was an excellent driver and gave various suggestions to cater to our guided experience. He had informative insights on the locations and took lots of great photos. Would recommend. Keep in mind some of the trails required many steps to hike down/up and at the rice terrace there’s the zipline & swing as an optional add on :)”
