“My experience at Ubud Traditional Spa was so good that I ended up going twice during my stay in Bali. As someone who had never had a massage before, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the Bali Traditional Massage was incredible. From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel comfortable with a welcome drink and a refreshing cold towel. You are then given a choice between four different oils for your session, and they all smelled amazing. The first time, we booked a 60-minute massage and enjoyed it so much that we came back for the 90-minute before our trip was over. If you're deciding between the two, I highly recommend the 90-minute massage. Both times, I had the pleasure of having Lusi as my therapist, and she was fantastic! Skilled, attentive, and made the whole experience so relaxing. The spa also offers a delicious tea after your treatment, which was the perfect way to end each session. Combined with the reasonable prices and outstanding service, Ubud Traditional Spa was one of the highlights of our trip. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud!”

“The place is beautiful and serene, with very friendly staff. The service is excellent and it truly feels like a complete experience. We had the traditional Balinese massage: first a welcome drink, followed by a foot bath. You can choose your own oil, and afterwards you have time to shower. The experience ends with a cup of tea. “All you need from a good Balinese spa : Ubud Traditional Spa checks all the boxes and still reasonably priced. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We were first recommended this spot by our villa hosts’ pre-Covid when they provided pick up & drop off from our Villa & decided to check them out again on our visit this trip. Therapists : well-trained, consistent, skilful masseuses. Menu : not a big selection, they just stick with what they do well. Ambience : Balinese & soothing surroundings, hygienic exterior and interiors. Service : always professional from arrival to departure. Little touches of appropriate welcome and end of massage beverage. Towel service, selection of preferred massage oils. Questions on preferred areas to emphasize or avoid. We came twice this trip and like to highlight Susan and Tini as our favourite therapists. We think therapists all try to do a good job and will check if the pressure is fine, so some communication of preferences may help to ensure you leave with experiences that meet your expectations. Update from before : we requested pick up and informed that it is only at designated spot if we are ok to meet there. We found grab a fast & easy option. Definitely will return when we next visit and do support them & remember to book ahead or risk being disappointed ✨”
