“Great dimsum - so good had it twice during a 9 day stay in Bkk - that's saying a Lot given you're spoilt for lunch choices lol. Service can be a little variable - had standout service 1st time, 2nd time took a little time to get into gear but once did was fine. Dimsum fresh and delicious - wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The iced teas are endless pour which is nice. Decor comfortable and functional rather than lush - perfect for a fuss-free lunch or dinner out. Guests were mixed crowd of friends, family groups, and solos (like me).”

“Excellent dim sum, delicious, it’s one of the best dim sum in Bangkok. We had the sour fish soup which was also very delicious. The lobster noodle was totally not worth it. The lobster was not covered with slimy and not that fresh. The noodle was too soft and sockey. The promfet with truffle was awful. The fish was not fresh, tasted like frozen fish with truffle which made it worst. It was so salty. We all had a bite and had to send it back. Btw it was by 2390. The server came back and said the chef said nothing wrong with it. The Service is average just like any restaurants that you can’t fully communicate well with the servers. The private room only fits 10 people. It has not sound absorbtion so hard to have conversation. Anyway, I ll go back again for dim sum only.”

“Hongbao in Emporium has a somewhat consistent quality in their food and dimsum. Overlooking the Benjasiri park onto Emsphere, the view at sunset is quite beautiful. Service could be good or ok, depending who is your server. Sometimes they are not trained well enough for example last time, the waitress took away my jikcho with ginger when my Xiaolongbao was not finished yet. Which sauce goes with which dish are on the job knowledge the server should have. When I come with a kid, they should provide kids utensils automatically. Small details like this should be better managed for the price they charge. Portions are huge even when you order the small dish, but also come at a hefty price.”
