“Had dim sum lunch on a Friday afternoon. Restaurant was not crowded. Restaurant offer buffet as well as dim sum set (@B789 pp with 6 DS dish + 1 fried/noodles + 1 soup). Decided to opt for ala crate Food overall standard quite good. Commented to the manager Bai Toey that the Sui Kao skin not so good as it sticks to fhe paper . She was apologetic and offered to give us another item as replacement. We opted not as we had consumed all and already full. Instead Bai Toey surprised us with a fruits platter. Food generally here lean towards Thai taste buds. A tad sweetness found in Shu Mai , fried bean curd skin and more so in the Sze Chuan Sour and spicy soup. Special comments to Bai Toey for her exemplary service”

“​Came to check out Hong Teh Restaurant and honestly, this meal was 100% about the food, 0% about the content. Everything was so delicious that I completely forgot to pull out my phone! By the time I realized it, the savory dishes were already long gone. 😅 ​The Opening Act: Started off with the Braised Fish Maw Soup. The broth was incredibly flavorful, served piping hot, and super comforting. It was that authentic, clean-yet-rich Chinese banquet style that opens up your appetite perfectly. ​The Dim Sum Lineup: Next up was the Steamed Dim Sum—served fresh and steaming hot with soft wrappers and plump, juicy fillings. But the absolute showstopper that stole the night was the Fried Dim Sum. Man, these were insanely delicious! Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. A total must-try. ​The Only Dish That Made It to Camera: Like I said, I inhaled the main course so fast I forgot to take pictures. I only snapped out of it when dessert arrived, so this was the lone survivor for my camera roll: the Fried Chinese Jujube (Date) Pastry. The crust was light and crispy, and the sweet jujube paste filling was perfectly balanced. It was the ultimate way to wrap up a fantastic meal. ​ If you love dim sum and Chinese food, you've got to give Hong Tae a try. The flavors are seriously legit. Next time, I promise I'll try to control myself and actually snap a photo of that fried dim sum before it disappears!”

“Amazing dimsum experience! This place is seriously good. The dimsum tastes incredible, totally authentic Hong Kong style. What impressed me most was how attentive everyone was. The staff and manager were so on top of everything, and the food came out super fast without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is what really makes it special though. They’ve done an amazing job making you feel like you’re actually in China. Everything from the decor to the vibe just transports you. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Bangkok. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality dimsum!”

“A hidden gem, Hong Kong-style restaurant at Ambassador Hotel in Soi Nana. The food is tasty! I tried several dim sum dishes. The fried dishes are not oily, showing freshness and quality. I also tried the vegetarian menu. The vegan Peking duck was unexpectedly delicious, and the fried mushrooms are a must. Staff are friendly and provide good service.”
