“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for Icon Lounge The Icon Rooftoo Lounge is an outstanding place that perfectly combines a stylish bar atmosphere with high-quality dining. The service is excellent – attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and made with high-quality ingredients. The wine selection is surprisingly good and well curated, making it easy to find the perfect match for your meal. The modern, relaxed, and chill atmosphere, combined with great music, makes it an ideal spot for both dinner and drinks. A special highlight is visiting on Friday evenings, when you can enjoy the spectacular moment of the Dragon Bridge breathing fire – an unforgettable experience that truly elevates the night. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, great vibes, and something special in Da Nang. 🍷🔥✨”
“Came here after the dragon bridge show. The location is nothing short of amazing, you really feel like being at the center of the whole city. The view is likewise spectacular. The food was good, a bit expensive compared to standards but you’re paying for the luxury view. Just a note on the service: it was very polite but it made a couple mistakes with the dishes and we ended up eating at different intervals. Would recommend once for a bit of a posh night out and a nice memory of Da Nang by night.”
“This is my honest review given after being request by staff: I came here on a weekend for a solo meal (without a reservation) after being told that were no free tables at the other restaurant/bar on the other floors, so I could watch the Dragon Bridge show - a great scenic view that avoids the crowds from the main road. Fortunately, I did not need to wait long to be seated or for my orders to come. They play western pop music and love songs (English lyrics) out loud on big speakers. The menu given digitally on a touchscreen tablet rather than in print. I ordered the seafood spring rolls and a lobster in Cajun style (spicy) as recommended by one of the servers; it was a locally-sourced spiny lobster species, quoted 600g (medium-sized apparently), pricing being by per 100g of weight, and it comes with sliced banh mi style bread. I'm not an expert on fine dining or eating seafood but the spring rolls were tiny compared to traditional cha gio/nem ran. The lobster was somewhat underwhelming because it seemed like not all its flesh was served on my plate. I also ordered a bottle of water and a tiger beer (330ml can) as well as a shisha pipe (apple, blueberry, mint flavour) which was massive to my surprise (reminded me of massive glass pipe for a special kind of 'herb'). Anyway, if you are coming here for a special occasion like a date or with family/friends, then it's good as there is definitely a romantic vibe. The servers are friendly especially Minh Tuan and Nhu Huyen; both guys endeavoured to accommodate me as a 'viet kieu' man with less-than-fluent Vietnamese - they provided an overall positive friendly service even though we needed to communicate via Google translate. The food itself tastes good but it let down by its actual portion size. If you are sensitive to seafood and spiciness, take caution as you may feel unwell afterwards or in the folllowing morning. The prices are quite high too for what it is, so be warned. Essentially, you are paying for an unobstructed view of the Dragon Bridge, with nice vibes, unique location and picture-esque atmosphere. If you want to save money and feel like you're getting your money's worth, then order cheaper/fewer items as you'll save a lot more because the fancy luxuries come at a premium price.”
“The atmosphere is good, there’s a Dj after 8pm, fun music. Also the view is great. But the service is not good: they constantly were forgetting to provide us with cutlery for each dish we ordered - so literally every time we had to call a waiter to give us chopsticks, knives, etc. The sizes of dishes were different than their pictures in the menu - rather smaller. And they didn’t mention the spiciness of the food in the menu - the seafood set we took was absolutely uneatable - so spicy that I burnt my lips. Expensive but it’s due to the location”
“I came because our hotel recommended it, and the photos on Google made it look like a striking cruise-ship structure. I was curious about the views and the idea of feeling like I was on a boat. The building does have several levels, each with different spaces, but once on the rooftop the “ship” concept didn’t translate as strongly as expected. We arrived around 5 pm, right at opening time, and the place was almost empty. The setting is dominated by dining tables, so it isn’t ideal if you’re coming mainly for a drink with a view. A dedicated lounge area with high tables and more atmospheric music would make a big difference. Menus are presented on an iPad, which wasn’t very intuitive. I would have preferred a traditional menu. The staff were kind and guided us from the entrance to the elevator and then to our table. We chose the one with the best view, although the view was less dramatic than I had imagined. Still, you can see the Dragon Bridge clearly, and it’s easy to understand why people come here for the show later in the evening. Drinks were average. My stout beer was served in a frosted glass and was genuinely good. My friend’s non-alcoholic lemonade, on the other hand, was far too sweet and visually looked like a low-quality cocktail, which felt out of place for a venue trying to position itself as high end. We ordered fries and fried chicken, and the food felt mismatched with the setting. The fries came with the sweet cheese powder popular in Korea, which didn’t work for us at all. They also seemed undercooked and likely frozen, with little color or texture. The fried chicken had a batter that separated from the meat, almost like a failed tempura. The overall menu is extensive, offering everything from shisha to sushi to steaks, which makes it hard to understand who they are trying to cater to, especially with such Korean-leaning flavor profiles. Service was polite, though the payment process was a bit clumsy. The staff member handling our bill struggled with the card machine and couldn’t print the receipt, so the checkout took longer than expected. The toilets were another weak point: only two stalls, and they were crowded with several working staff members getting ready with makeup and outfits. A separate space for them would improve the guest experience significantly.”
