“We visited whilst in Hoi An and absolutely loved it. The kitties are all so sweet and it’s really touching to know so many are rescued and cared for here, and they also actively help those rescued from the cat meat trade (they provide more info on this in their booklets if anyone wants to read to better understand the situation) I absolutely recommend visiting if you have the time. This is a rescue centre first above your standard commercial ‘cat cafe’, and where they put the welfare of the kitties first. You can tell they really love and take really good care of all 100+ cats currently there. They open for booking 3 days a week only - I would recommend booking via their link ahead as there’s limited slots for each day! You can buy drinks only inc. coffees, juices and beers. There’s a seating area and also several other rooms you can walk round - they have plenty of space to roam and play! :) they also sell merch like t-shirts, tote bags, stickers etc which all goes towards the costs of running the rescue. We got two totes as their designs are cool Everyone was really lovely and was happy to explain the stories/background of any of the kitties we asked about 🫶🏼”

“I visited Jack’s Cafe in March 2026, and it’s safe to say this is one of the best cat cafes in Asia. 1) All rescued cats I adopted my cat from a sketchy "cat cafe" that turned out to be a front for a bad breeder. Because of that, I’m super picky about which cat cafes I visit, and Jack’s Cafe is 100% on my revisit list. No doubt about it. 2) Awesome staff The staff here are so friendly and always paying attention to the cats. It’s why the place is so clean, tidy, and feels like home for the cats. The setup also makes it really easy to interact with them. 3) Good coffee I ordered a coffee with no sugar and it was genuinely good. And that’s an unbiased opinion—even though I did have cats randomly sitting on my lap most of the time!”

“Such an important work Emma and her volunteers do! This sanctuary has rescued hundreds of cats, there are currently over 100 cats. We were there on January 2nd 2026 and they just reopened after the flood, which hit them pretty hard (like all of Hoi An). The volunteers are all friendly and welcoming but most importantly take very good care of the cats. The coconut coffee was the best one I had in Vietnam so far! The cats are all friendly and all have their own story, they seem very well taken care of. Only opens 3 days a week and for one hour only, reservation required. So happy they think about the cats first and the visitor second. They sell merchandise (we bought a cute tote bag) and you can donate as well. They really need the money so donate if you can! I’m so happy this place exists. They also actively try to tell people about cat meat trade in Vietnam.”

“Such an amazing place to visit, very non-tourisitic. It is lovely that they stay true to what they do and why they exist. Many cats are friendly, so you get to pet them, and the kids got to feed the cats during the lunch time. Was so nice to hear the cat stories and learn their bames. More a Cat Shelter than a cafe. They serve only drinks, which were all great. Making a reservation by email was seamless. Please do make a reservation and arrive in time, you will love the experience.”

“Do you like cats who are cuddly, well-behaved, and in need of some loving? Then, come to Jack’s. Named after the first stray they helped, this rescue center is run by wonderful people who are doing everything they can to provide a safe home for cats and kittens of all kind. The cafe has an entry fee of 150K and you get to chill and play with cats for an hour. What else do you need really?”
