La Creme - Finest Ice Cream (Ben Thanh)

“We visited La Creme Finest Ice Cream and absolutely loved the experience from start to finish. The shop itself was very nice, clean, and tidy, with a welcoming atmosphere that made it such a pleasant place to sit and enjoy dessert. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, making us feel comfortable as soon as we walked in. What really made this place stand out was how unique and creative the ice cream flavours were. We loved how they incorporated Vietnamese-inspired flavours and authentic local dishes into their ice cream creations, making it a really memorable experience compared to your usual dessert spots. We tried the choc mint, egg coffee, and the fish sauce caramel flavours, and honestly all of them were solid 10/10s. Each flavour was so distinct, balanced, and surprisingly delicious. The egg coffee flavour especially captured the iconic Vietnamese coffee taste perfectly, while the fish sauce caramel was something we never imagined trying in ice cream but ended up loving. It was sweet, salty, rich, and incredibly unique. Trying flavours we had never experienced before made this visit feel extra special and something we’ll definitely remember from our time in Vietnam. It’s not often you come across ice cream that feels this creative while still tasting amazing. The red velvet cookie on the side was also incredible and paired so well with the ice cream. Such a delicious extra touch to an already fantastic dessert experience. Highly recommend visiting if you want to try something different, creative, and uniquely Vietnamese. Definitely one of the most memorable ice cream spots we’ve been to!”

“Had a tasting set of 4 flavors: Vietnamese fish sauce, pho, durian sticky rice and rum and raisins. Wow, so good! You can definitely taste fish sauce but it works well? Pho is interesting and refreshing, rum and raisin was rich and tasty too. Durian one was surprisingly nice, and I usually dislike durian flavored sweets.”

“Ice cream that tastes like Vietnam, with flavors like Soursop, Durian w/sticky rice milk and the more exotic like Vietnamese fish sauce and Mangonada (mango w/spicy chili topping). The soursop was tasty like a green apple and this chocoholic loved the chocolate gooey brownie! The waffle cones were super tasty, though a bit on the fragile side, especially with the ice cream being so perfectly cold and solid. A great please to stop on a hot afternoon!”

“We stumbled upon this ice creamery whilst exploring. The service from the young man in store was delightful. He recommended the tasting set for 4 flavours we were brave enough to try the special fish sauce flavour for one of them and it was surprisingly delicious ! Snowy soursop was my favourite the honey lavender was also great 😊 we hope to visit again !”

“I love ice cream, since moving back to VN, what I miss eating is ice cream, donuts, freshly baked cookie, hot dog and many other western food. This place reminded me of a place in SF, ice cream is super good, flavorful and infused with local flavors. Must try: Durian, Rocky Mint and Rhum flavors”
