La Moi plant-based Restaurant

“We both loved our dinner at La Moi plant based Restaurant! Super friendly service and very attentive staff. We ordered the rainbow rolls (there are more served than in my pic, we just couldn’t wait and ate a couple), vermicelli salad, Lamoi Fried Rice with Chikn salad and the plant based ribs. Everything was super tasty and the stand out was the ribs which were really delicious! Thanks Lamoi.”

“Wow what a lovely restaurant. Service is great and the food came out so quickly. We ordered the plant braised ribs - delicious! Pad Thai very generous serving and loved the flavor. We also got the La Moi signature salad and spring rolls that had the mushroom heavy mix so good! The tropical iced teas were refreshing and loaded with fruit. We would definitely come back!!”

“Located in the heart of D1, this vegan restaurant was highly recommended by several sources when I was looking for a vegan restaurant for overseas visitors. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. We came in for a very late weekday lunch and were promptly greeted and seated. It took a little time to go over the extensive menu, but we eventually decided to start with the seafood spring rolls and vegan braised pork ribs, followed by the Beijing fried flat noodles and mushroom sautéed noodles. When we communicated our order to the waitress, we were advised not to order the seafood spring rolls and were directed towards the square spring rolls, a restaurant signature dish. We hadn’t asked for a recommendation, which made the suggestion feel a little odd, especially as the dish remains on the menu. We went with the staff recommendation, hoping it would be a standout. It wasn’t. The rectangular spring rolls were fine but lacked any noticeable mushroom flavour, and the pork rib’s texture was porous and a little oily. The Beijing fried flat noodles came with a sort of soup/sauce/vegetable side whose purpose was unclear and whose flavour was flat, just like the noodles themselves and the mushroom sautéed noodles. Both dishes were also missing the tofu specified on the menu. When we asked about it, the waitress apologised and a few minutes later we received two small plates of tofu strips - plain, not marinated or seasoned, and lukewarm. Worth a repeat? No, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others either. While the service was polite, the dishes lacked flavour and attention to detail, and overall the experience didn’t deliver the expected value.”

“I’m stunned by how good plant based food is in HCM city! Beautiful menu at La Moi, as a mushroom lover this is paradise! I ordered the Beijing Stir Flat Noodles and to my surprise it also came with a soup/broth that was mind blowing! The flavors were so complex, I absolutely recommend getting this dish. The perfect portion for one person. I could do with some more noodles because they were so delicious 😂 10/10 recommend!”

“La Moi has a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere and thoughtful décor, such a calm and stylish space to dine in. However, the food was just okay for me. Maybe I didn’t pick the right dishes this time. The soup had many ingredients that were hard to chew, and the Pad Thai was just average. Still, worth a try if you enjoy plant-based dining in a beautiful setting.”
